Coppa Italia final starting. If Fiorentina win they will qualify for Europa Conference. Unless they also beat West Ham, in which case they will be in Europa League, and 7th place (currently Juve) in Serie A will qualify for ECL.
I think there is possibly more in this because of the Mendes links. And we’re in a much better place with Emery than we were when we were after Bissouma.
It's pretty ironic that the Newcastle game is also the last game Ollie has scored in.
Can't really blame Southgate, it was probably a tossup between Watkins and Wilson, and Wilson just edged it.
Could we see Vinicius leave? If he left if would kind of letting the racists win, but on the other hand he would be a lot more appreciated in the PL or at somewhere like PSG or Bayern.
I think a change to 433 is something we will see against weaker opposition next season. It's something he did at Villarreal, 4231 or 433 where Villarreal are favourites, and the solid 442 against tougher opposition.
I'd have thought they'd need to spend anything they get for Kane in replacing his 30 goals a season, don't think a DM with no goals is going to do that.
There was a quote in another thread from Emery where he says his preferred formation is 4141 or 433. So, it's possible we could switch to that for certain games.
Having a midfield of Ugarte/Kamara/Luiz would genuinely be one of the best in the league, second probably only to City at present.
If Spurs hire Slot as manager, they will go for Kokcu.
I'd be surprised if Spurs are actually in for Ugarte, considering they don't have a manager or Sporting Director.
I'm sure Messi would have loved playing under Bruce, whipping balls into Scott Hogan We'd defo have beat Fulham in the final that season with Messi in the team .
The worrying thing about this whole shitshow, is that if Man City don't get punished or just get a slap on the wrist, it basically gives Newcastle free reign to do what they want. If they go down hard on City, it will curb Newcastle's spending hopefully.
