Chelsea were always going to have a clear-out, they have a squad of about 35+ players, they need to trim that down to about 25.

They haven't sold 5 players to clubs in SA, they have sold 3. So other clubs can sell players to SA but Chelsea can't? There is no way to enforce that rule i'm afraid.

It's standard UEFA procedure as both teams are in the same competition. Brighton/Union Saint-Gilloise and Milan/Toulouse are also being looked at. Nothing dodgy is going on, so nothing will happen.

Yes, but compare our wage bill to Vitoria for example, or a random Dutch or Belgian team, ours is astronomical compared to theirs.

100%. I couldn't care less what players want to go there for a pay day, let them. The only thing that we should be worried about is European clubs using this as a way to circumvent FFP rules.

I don’t think it does still stand. Let’s see what Ziyech, Koulibaly and Kante do with their careers after their stint in SA. I would say it’ll not much more than the “past it” players on my list. Why does it matter that only Arnautovic was playing in the PL? Some of the other players played for Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

You mustn’t remember who China signed, it was more than just Oscar: Hulk - 30 Paulinho -30 Jackson Martinez - 29 Bakambu - 26 Carrasco - 24 Arnautovic - 30 El Shaarawy - 26 All for big money and playing at a decent level, and hardly past their sell by date all of them 30 or under.
