    If we're playing a traditional back four with two CBs and two FBs then we won't see Mings and Torres on the pitch together, both left footed. Only way we'll see Mings and Torres is if one plays as a defensive left back.

    Surprised there hasn't been TV rights picked up in UK for this yet. Not that I would watch it mind you. But surely, it's pointless buying all these superstar players if they are only on TV in a handful of countries?

    Is he back with the squad yet? Really bizarre he’s had no involvement, unless of course he was carrying an injury. Maybe we’ll see him get some minutes against Valencia. Otherwise he’s going to have to play some U21 games.

    I think the fact Digne started last night means he will still be here come Newcastle game. If he's not in the squad for Valencia then we can panic.

    If he does end up out on loan, then we need another striker. I could see Emery going for a more experienced back up, someone like Gerard Moreno.

    Thought he was quiet, although he only played 45 mins. Had a few link ups with Bailey down the left. If Tielemans passing to Watkins is anything to go by, Diaby will have a field day on the counter this season.

    I've read it is an issue with his image rights, no idea if it's true but it sounds plausible. Image rights are a big thing for Asian players, particularly Japanese.

    Any scenario kind of screws them, which is nice. And their defense is still terrible, which is also nice.
