Seems to be a Spanish thing. Pep does it, as do Barca, Real and Atletico. Get used to it, you’re probably going to see it often even when players back from injury.

Gonna be a tough game, Liverpool haven’t lost at home since February against Real Madrid, and haven’t lost in the league there since October to Leeds. But there defence has never been weaker, and with Salah possibly not in the right frame of mind, could be the perfect time to play them.

I seen a montage recently on Twitter of Gerrard's (I know) long range goals for Liverpool, and watching it realised a lot of them were freekicks that were laid off to him to hammer. We never really see goals like that these days. Was thinking with Tieleman's having a thunderous shot, it should be something we should look to exploit.

We might not see the high line in this one. A few times last season we used that 6-2-2 formation to good effect and hit teams on the counter. Seems like it would work well against Liverpool, with their weak defense and our pace of front, a counter setup would be perfect.
