    I'd be surprised is Olsen didn't start this. Pretty much agree with the rest of the XI though.

    Yep, something that worries me going forward. More clinical strikers would have finished us off yesterday. We need to find a balance, a deeper line away from home, at least until we get some players back from injury and the team gels a bit more.

    A good win, and I’ll take the three points. But there were a few times their players were clean through on goal, and if they weren’t called Jackson or Sterling we’d have been a few goals down. That high line doesn’t work away from home, and against stronger teams we’ll see a few more results like Newcastle and Liverpool.

    So far this season we’ve bounced back with wins after we’ve been beaten. Don’t see why we can’t do that again. Chelsea are terrible, they’ve only beaten Luton this season. We’ve nothing to be afraid of playing them, they’re shit.

    Need the starboy back ASAP. Looked a bit rusty which is to be expected. Could he start v Chelsea for 60 mins? Or more likely to come on for last 30?

    I wouldn't be opposed to Duran starting against Chelsea, but I think i'd give Ollie another chance. He might not have scored and has missed a few, but he's getting in the right areas and is contributing assists if nothing else.

    Yep, was purely mental. Every single player who started last night would walk onto the Legia team, including Chambers.

    Chambers inclusion last night was justified and made sense on paper prior to kick-off. We literally have nobody else to play there. Cash can't play every game; he needs to be rotated or he will burn out. I'd imagine Konsa would have played there if Carlos hadn't got injured, but needs must, Chambers was literally the only option. It's painfully clear we need to invest in RB now in January. I hope Emery and Monchi see this. Who is the Moreno of right backs?

    Well, what have we come up with? The general consensus here is that we shouldn't have made any changes at all to the starting XI. The 5 changes made, on paper, were the correct decision IMO.

    Drop Kamara, switch him with McGinn and play Zaniolo as the 10 Martinez Cash - Konsa - Pau - Digne McGinn - Luiz Diaby - Zaniolo - Bailey Watkins

    On paper, the teams put out versus Stevenage and Legia are where good enough to get results in those games. Why they didn't, I have no idea.

    The setup might need changed, particularly away from home as we seem to be getting exposed.

    It's not like the players that didn't start and came on with 30 mins + injury time did a lot.

    It's easy to forget that our good run in the second half of last season, Kamara didn't play much due to injury. It was mainly Mcginn and Luiz that played in the pivot.
