Definitely seems like we are lacking width down that right hand side. We've tried Cash there and one game against Burnley aside, it just doesn't work, he doesn't have the skillset to play there regularly. Emery usually played Yeremy Pino in the RM position, would love to go in for him.

Anyone who think Dumfries wouldn't be an upgrade on Cash, clearly hasn't seen Cash play right midfield. Dumfries can at least dribble past players and cross the ball.

Would take a few years of consistence CL qualification before we could afford Leao. He’d cost £100m+ and wages of £250k+. We’re not at that level.

Likely a loan with option to buy, or mandatory transfer if certain conditions are met, bit like Zaniolo deal.

The original article is a bit vague, but this sounds like a permanent transfer to me, rather than a loan. Or it could be bollocks.

What’s stopping this team from winning the lot?

Dumfries or Frimpong sounds ideal for this role. As long as they can cross better than Cash, or actually dribble past someone.

They won't win the league with Nunez up front.

Think January will be make or break for Howe, they should beat Sunderland (but it's a derby, so who knows). I'd expect City to beat them in the league, which means his job could rely on a win versus us at home

And he has 14 goals in those 15 games, so nearly a goal a game. I think it means plenty him coming back after a nice long rest.

As nice as it is to be joint top on New Years Eve, I can’t see us or Liverpool hanging on. Once City get KDB and Haaland back, they’ll go into overdrive for the run in. They won 12 games in a row, from Feb last season. As good as we’ve been, we aren’t at that level.
