    One thing that annoys me about Luiz is his tendency to fall over looking a freekick, then the ref waves play on and he's sitting on his arse waving his arms in the air while the opposition have possession outside our penalty box. Seems to happen once or twice a game, and been doing it under Smith and Gerrard.

    Looks at the clubs Mourinho has managed in that period, and then look at Unai's (PSG aside), not really a fair comparison, is it? Mourinho win % has been decreasing with every job he's taken; he leaves Roma with the lowest win % of his career.

    Only 4 clean sheets in 12 games when he's played, it isn't that great. Spurs also have 5th highest xG against, they've conceded less than they should have because of Vicario. Can they keep that up all season?

    They really aren't, they couldn't even fill their stadium a few seasons ago in a CL 1/4 final against Real Madrid FFS. They artificially inflated their revenues to give the impression they are a big club, and then you have Sky and the love affair with Pep, De Bruyne, Haaland etc. When they all go, nobody will care.

    Top 4 will need about 70 points give or take. Newcastle are not getting to 70 points, they need 41 more points to get to 70, that's the equivalent of 14 wins from their remaining 17 games

    Cheslea will be going for this with them not in Europe. I agree, as good as it would be to win the FA Cup, CL has to be priority, we'd stand a better chance at winning this in the future if we've been in the CL a couple seasons.

    Best thing Forest can do is just double down. If the Brennan Johnson money isn't going to count for this periods FFP because it was past the deadline, then it will count in next seasons. Just accept the punishment and go out and spend £150m in January

    No harm in having him in the squad I suppose. Might raise his profile with a few decent appearances in the second half of the season, and could secure a decent move in the summer. Or he could turn out to be decent, give the two fingers to the Serbian Cafu and cement his place in the team, and go on to become a Villa legend.

    Wasn’t aware of this, interesting. But seems easy to get around, player sponsorship will just mysteriously increase with newly formed companies based conveniently in the same country as the clubs owners, sponsoring the players for hundreds of millions.

    Hypothetically, yes or no? West Ham have basically done this by selling Rice and buying Kudus, Alvarez and JWP and look the better team for it.
