  1. Bloody hell. He’s doing such a good job there, it would be crazy not to extend his contract
  2. Good thing we have a buy back clause.
  3. Yep, ffp related. Only players I’ve seen linked with a move away from Chelsea are academy players, Gallagher, Borja and Colwill. They penny has dropped with Bohley.
  4. Most of the youth have buy back clauses, and weve picked up some decent freebies recently.

    Ezri Konsa

Need him back at CB with Pau, we look much more solid with them two at CB.
  6. Looks like he’ll be kept about as backup to Cash. I can see Konsa moving back to CB, Carlos has made a lot of mistakes lately.
  7. I'd imagine so, their lawyers would have a field day if they ended up beating the 115 charges, they would sue the PL.
  8. Yeah, I realise that. Which is why FFP was introduced in the first place, to stop a team with unlimited wealth buying whoever they want, City cheated to get around that, doesn;t mean we should lift the rules to allow Newcastle to do it.
  9. It will be an extra 7 games making it to the final of ECL, which is why it was important we bypassed that play-off round by topping the group. Likewise, it could be 5+ games getting to the final of the FA Cup, so which tournament should we priorities, as it will be hard to stay in both while fighting for 4th place.
  10. Whatever happened to that winger from Norwich we were linked with? Was the links bollocks ?
  11. That's always been the case though, but it will (or should) be less frequent. Arsenal for example can't afford a striker like Toney without selling some players, whereas before Toney would be gone, and Brentford left with some cash and a hole in their squad needing filled.
  12. One for the future, and hopefully he fulfills his potential and becomes our first choice RB. But I can't help thinking we'll see something similar to what City do with Monchi in charge. Sign talented youngsters from abroad for relatively cheap and sell for profit.
  13. Stricter rules might be a bit harsher and will limit our spending, but if it means Arsenal or Liverpool can't go out every season and cherry pick our players, then i'm all for it.
  14. Exactly, avoid. Will be a big enough fee, high wages and will be help Arsenal with FFP. Better value elsewhere.
  15. One of those team likely will go on a decent run, but my point was people seem to think that, and think we won't also go on a run. We have the second most points in 2023, we're more likely to go on a run than any of those teams.
  16. He's terminated his contract, it isn't a loan, he's signing for Ajax on a free transfer.
  17. He’s 23, he’s only two years young than Luiz
  18. Antonio has been injured since end of November, and he still can’t get a game. Great piece of business from us getting rid.
  19. Friendly reminder that Ings is one of the highest earners at West Ham, and they paid us £15m for the privilege
  20. Players can be swapped, it was more to show we’d have options of 3 CBS and Attacking RB, 3 CBS and attacking LB, or 3 CBS and attacking RB and LB. The players don’t matter, whoever is fit and on form.
  21. Options at the back next season: Moreno Pau Carlos Konsa Hermoso Pau Konsa Kosta Moreno Hermoso Pau Konsa Kosta
  22. We’re either going to a back three, or he’s playing the LB version of Konsa with an attacking RB.
  23. Let’s see him coach in league 2 see how good he is.
