Should be a decent option and help with extra games for the remainder of the season. We'll also know for certain if he's got a future here, if he's not at the level we need then he'll be sold in summer and a new RB the priority.

It's still surreal that we have this man in charge of recruitment, one of the most sought-after directors of football on the planet. I'm 100% certain him and Emery are going to build a team capable for competing for trophies over the next few seasons.

Wasn't he captain of the youth winning team? I'd imagine he has the right mentality to make it at this level, weather he has the ability or not. Be interesting to see if he can push Cash for starts, because I want Konsa back at CB.

He's only just signed a new contract, so Boro have no reason to sell unless the player requests a transfer. We're gonna have to increase the offer, probably something similar to Ramsey for them to agree. City also have a sell on clause as well, which would reduce Boro's fee even more. So, will depend how much Emery and Monchi want him, if they feel he's worth that much.

And this is your mistake for assuming they would, none of the young players we're close to signing are for this season. Our current squad is fine, we'll get back to our best when injured players return.

Maybe you don’t, but it’s the second most popular football league in the world (6th overall if you include the American Sports leagues), it’s understandably quite popular in Spanish speaking Latin America.

It's the way you worded it - " A load of unknowns". These are players that have obviously been well scouted, and fit Emery's style for future squads, would you rather we didn't sign anyone?

Emery himself has said he's happy with the team (we're third in the league in case you hadn't noticed), we have players coming back from injury, and we won't be signing any first team players unless someone leaves, or a really good deal comes up (like Alex Moreno). So, our January strategy is to supplement the squad with high potential youth players.

This is the way. Replace older high salary deadwood players like Olsen, Chambers, Donck, Traore etc. with young, low salary, high potential players. Save on wages with minimal drop in ability, and players will have much higher ceiling to grow into the team or be sold for profit. Create more room in wages to have a big marquee signing in summer as well to improve 1st team.

No idea, but JPB seems like a more traditional wide player, someone suited to a 433 or 4231. Rogers seems more suited to our system, left, right or up front.

Nobody will be joining the first team unless someone leaves, Emery has said as much. Hence why we’re shopping for future stars.
