What makes you think City would have accepted £1.5m from us in the summer? City took a hit selling him for £1.5m. A PL team chasing Europe would likely have had to pay more for him than a Championship team with a big sell on clause paid.

Will be a tough game, but we should be winning this at home. We've created enough chances in last few games, we just aren't taking them. If we start being more clinical in front of goal, we should win this.

There is no way of knowing if it will be or not. The player could go on and reach his potential and then they sell him for £30m, which would make turning down £15m look like good business. Equally, he could not fulfill his potential and they sell him in a few years for £3m, which would make turning down £15m bad business. An example is Hudson-Odoi, Chelsea turned down £70m from Bayern one season, and then a few years later sold him for £3m to Forest.
