Lambert is good at doing what hes been brought here to do,get promotion,their is a long term plan at the Villa but its going to get worse before it gets better.Lambert is a Warnock type of manager,good at getting championship teams promoted but is found wanting with the big boys.

Cant you see a trend in what you have just written?Teams play with fire when they hang around the bottom three year after year,you stagnate as a team while others pass you by,and then its bye bye!

Paul Lambert has a proven record of getting teams promoted,so year after next well be back in the premier.(thats positive thinking for ya!)

I aint so sure about the great majority!If anything i thought the great majority were more enthusiastic over OGS than lambert,if you go by pages in a thread the OGS thread raced to over 300 and,well,this one has dragged its feet to the mid 60's,so,no,i dont see the enthusiam at all.

At last a real definition of our play,having real trouble linking up with the front two,no consistency,lots of hard work on the plus side. -
Did anybody else notice this?He was always in space making himself available,and the way he read the defender for his goal was fantastic!

I agree. As much as RAWK meltdown is funny, Villatalk had a relegation thread after one game. And see what Lambert did when he read it?

we turned a corner today,good game of football all round, i thought we should have won,Guzan was a rock at the back today,left back has got to be and hopefully is sorted,even zog showed a glimpse of what he can do,also a glimpse of what he does do,but overall im happy. -
He cost us a goal with his poor positioning,i felt he was too tired at that point and i would have taken him off.
