  2. Watching him and Lescott try and play it between them and you just know 100% a mistake is going to happen. Pair of absolute dinosaurs with almost no positive attributes between them.

Would rather recall Joe Bennett at least he has some legs ffs

  3. I'd argue N'Zogbia is up there.

I'd actually say Emile Heskey is up there as one of the worst signings made by the club. Not in terms of being the worst player or value for money but due to being signed instead of an actual decent goal scorer (e.g. Darren Bent) who would've got us into Europe.

    Off topic I know :-/

  4. I personally don't think he was right in playing N'Zogbia. I think he realises that he was way below standard and that it was thanks to other players we stayed up - and that's why he's now not even in the squad.

  5. That "one shocker" was one of the worst of his performances but the rest were far from acceptable.

He put in a shift for the team playing in that position and fair play to him for that - and yes, he had some good performances at the start of the season (all of which playing in midfield). I think he had and possibly still has a value within the squad as he's a useful squad player.

However I stand by him being awful in all of his left back performances with the exception of one or two games (or moments - e.g. the header off the line in the semi final).

  6. I hate the scapegoat argument. Richardson played well in the cup final by comparison to other players dreadful performances and he actually showed some fight.

However IMO he was under par in every other left back performance he put in.
