watching the deadline day special for the premier league on nbcsports in a strange way makes me happy. all the pundits are ****. talking about how every new signing is so good. its ridiculous and I'm happy i don't have to hear them every weekend for our games
I think it is 100% the fact that we are signing championship "proven" players this time around, comparative to last year signing a bunch of french and spanish league players for the premier league. as well as players past their prime-Lescott.
imo the only other business we would be doing is just getting depth/experienced players in on loans(GK-if no faith in Steer/Bunn, Center Half-especially if Richards goes, Center Mid-Probably most important area for myself, and a striker-preferably not african so we have at least 2 strikers not going away to the AFCON)
100% this. and iirc one of tony's tweets stated that the striker was not a championship striker(assuming that tweet was concerned with Hernandez) and Kodjia was plan B
personally i rate clark, but imo i don't believe that is true. after his injury, Okore lost a step. I do agree with your point that we need depth at the back, though.
100% this. He may not be the best player or even a decent player, but we literally would have to sign another midfielder that would add to our business. Simply not going to happen. If we sold him without replacing him properly, we would play Gardner more and that is something i think VT would go crazy about
