Similar to Moreira, I'm not sure what the point of loaning him in is if we aren't going to play him at CB. Decent for a RB but why would we have loaned him to play him there when we already have massive depth there and if Bruce prefers Jedi at CB.

i think the problem lies with the idea that we loaned him in to play at CB (which I think most of us believed when he signed) and now we are playing him at RB where we already have too much depth. I do agree that he hasn't been playing his best but if we have just loaned him to play RB then that is just frankly a waste of a loan spot

While I agree with this sentiment, it just seems that there isn't anyone available for us to sign to fit that. Also we are apparently using our other loans for more wingers and not looking at some a center half doesn't help either

Even though I am excited at the possible arrivals for the two wingers on loan, a part of me is wondering why we're going after 2 more wingers and not another center half which imo is a much bigger need for us.

don't think that loaning him out would be a good move on our part. we only have one other senior striker (Kodjia) and i wouldn't want to place all my faith just with him (Not sure relying on Davis/Hepburn-Murphy for goals off the bench is ideal). IF we can get a good loan for a striker coming in then maybe I'd consider it. Also I would like to see him given a chance to play with Grealish/McGinn as well

I wanted (and still want) Bruce to do well with us and was thinking he should be given some more time. After today, I think I am almost in the Bruce out camp. absolutely dreadful performance today imo especially with a man advantage. We just need a manager with fresh ideas

the commentator over in the states said it didn't look like Moreira was Steve Bruce's kind of keeper. If he is not, then what was the point of loaning him? Especially if we were after Nyland the whole time. Anyways IMO he had an up and down game. seemed to be decent with distribution at first, and also had the PK save. But as i said on the match thread he seems to be more of a risk taker and will come out for long balls, crosses etc. which might get him in trouble.

he's been alright. Seems to be pretty good with distribution but seems to have the tendency to come out to get long balls (might not be the best trait)

Not convincing at all but 3 points is 3 points. Better start to the season then last year. Also think we need a CB + CF on loan and possibly a LB as well
