Taylor-Crossdale (iirc we were also randomly linked with him) is also another young English player apparently headed abroad (from chelsea to Hoffenheim)
Reece Oxford going to Augsburg as well.
good to see youngsters try moving abroad
I just saw this angle on twitter and I think i've just gotten more confused about the handball rule. Live time as it happened yesterday, I thought the ref had made the right decision with VAR, but after seeing this combined with the other changed var decisions in the recent champs league I'm not so sure.
Thought I'd make this as Villa have just announced that they will be coming over Stateside for a pre-season friendly with Minnesota United. (Not sure if this is the right thread to put this)
Also I had seen rumors that we were under consideration to play DC United as well so keep an eye out for that as well.

i think that this clip of bernie just shows how 'conservative' pretty much all of the US government is in regards to Israel/Middle east and the Israeli conundrum
I still don't particularly like putting both of the women's titles up in the same match for what is similar to a unification bout. (There are way to many woman superstars on either brand to only have one championship)
I think that is spot on with McIntyre winning MITB (unless he wins the title before)
So Wrestlemania is coming up this weekend. The current card looks like this:
Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch (Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships)
Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston (WWE Championship)
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins (Universal Championship)
Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio (United States Championship)
Bobby Lashley vs. Finn Balor (Intercontinental Championship)
Triple H vs. Batista (No Holds Barred)
The Miz vs. Shane McMahon (Falls Count Anywhere)
Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese (Cruiserweight Championship)
Bayley and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Tamina vs. The IIconics vs. Beth Phoenix and Natalya (Women's Tag Team Championships)
Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Women's Battle Royal
As much as I would love to see us sign him permanently in the Summer, I don't think that would be quite a wise move.
I think it was @wilko154 that said we have to stop spending on overpriced players with big wages. If the transfer fee was reduced (highly unlikely) then I might be more open to it but spending 20/25 mil on Tammy just doesn't seem like the best value for money we could get.
With all that being said — IF we could get him "cheaply" then I would be all for it. (or even another loan wouldn't be as bad).
Genuinely curious about this, but when was the last time he was really tested by a team? I don't recall him making a lot of big saves.
That said, he's in great form
I thought so myself, but seems like he was pushed in the back. Still I would've thought that VAR would've checked that.
Also don't know how Chiellini didn't foul the Madrid guy right at the end by clearly impending him. Thats a pen for me and not sure why VAR didn't even have a look at it....
Restarted my game with the new update and got the Spain U-19 job with the lowest rep etc. Went unbeaten through the entire year to the U-19 championships. Also had England loaded as "view only" and Villa got promoted. First year they go out and splash the cash to sign Mahrez, Cena Tosun, Holgate, and Juanmi.
