  1. Samatta is the first player to score a cup final goal against a Pep Guardiola side since Wayne Rooney in the 2011 Champions League final. Guardiola's teams had kept clean sheets in the 8 finals since before today.
  2. Felt like he got pretty much everything spot on today... the one thing that I am still hesitant on are his subs. Why not put Davis on with Samatta (and take off Nakamba etc) when we're chasing the game in the 80th min.
  3. Saw this statistic: Samatta (& Villa) is the first to score against a Guardiola team in a final since Rooney in 2011 (8 clean sheets since then).
  4. I just don't see how he's interfering with play at all. But again I would say my biggest gripe with this is that the on field ref (chris kavanagh) didn't go to the screen and decide for himself.
  5. Another VERY questionable overturned goal this time for Everton in stoppage time.
  6. looks like Gerard Deulofeu might've just done his acl..
  7. also something relatively big in the industry over in the states specifically: Alaska is joining oneworld http://news.aa.com/news/news-details/2020/Alaska-Airlines-American-Airlines-Announce-New-West-Coast-International-Alliance-Alaskas-West-Coast-Network-to-Connect-With-Americans-Long-Haul-Flying-to-Create-More-Choice-for-Travelers-NET-ALP/default.aspx
  8. Well looks like they've reversed course almost 3 years later... http://news.aa.com/news/news-details/2020/American-Airlines-and-Qatar-Airways-Sign--Strategic-Partnership-Deal-and-Codeshare-Agreement-NET-ALP/default.aspx I'd imagine that Qatar is going to look to purchase another stake in AA in the near future.
  9. For those saying if he was at any other club that he would be under a lot of fan pressure. Let's look at Norwich from last year to this year. They stormed the C'ship and won promotion by 11 points off of Leeds in 3rd. They were 18 points ahead of us. Fast forward to this season, and we are still in 17th and Norwich sit rock bottom 7 points off of us. Why don't I see Norwich fans consistently moaning about Farke, that he isn't a good manager for them, or that he should be sacked? I'm still undecided on whether we should sack him in a few, but to do so at this moment in time (before a cup final) imo would be madness.
  10. doesn't have to to with us, but Bournemouth are still well in this. 2 VAR disallowed goals and lost 3-0 at Burnley. Still have to play 5 of the "big 6" plus Wolves, Leicester and Everton.
  11. This is broken in its current state. Absolutely no consistency. Chelsea have been screwed in consecutive matches with clear and obvious red cards not being deemed "serious foul play" They need to start going to the ******* pitch side monitor.
  12. got my 2nd trip to VP (first for a game) last weekend. Looking at a few others: Greece and possibly maybe Canada.
  13. This debate has been something else already. I fear that Trump has already won re-election
  14. Cheers! I've always been wondering about that. Will definitely look to follow some of these strategies.
  15. Question for those more 'long-term' save people... How do y'all go about finding quality coaches? Especially newgen coaches? I always seem to have trouble with getting a decent staff in (as my club rep increases)
  16. I think that the Euros are going to give us an 'advantage' with trying to keep Jack here. I would think there's no way we would sell him before the tournament (assuming he's close to the squad) and if he has a storming performances then his price gets bumped up higher
  17. just had a look over there... appears that registration is closed so we can't head over there to 'educate' them about Jack and that he is going to cost wayyyy more than £45m.
  18. I thought the Rumble was pretty good (beat my expectations).
  19. Like I posted in the general PL thread... I think that their fanbase has turned on the ownership. Pretty much wanting relegation for your own club is a very radical idea. And if Moyes does get sacked again (who knows), who would they get in? Doubt Sam wants to go back considering some of the quotes that are out there surrounding his departure.
  20. I know we've got some relatively negative posters on here but I've yet to see any poster wanting us to get relegated.. I just went on a West Ham forum and it looks to be roughly about half of their posters whom have 'accepted' relegation, and/or want to get relegated just to spite their owners. I didn't realize how unpopular the board/owners are over there.
  21. If they're actually going to be signing Bellingham for upwards 30 million.....
  22. he has been putting some stories up (which only last 24 hours)
