watching our game vs them. I really like their signings of Werner and Ziyech, but they are absolutely not in the position that chelsea need to strengthen. They desperately need better defenders.

not generally related to him in terms of football, but looks like Kieran Maguire & his Price of Football podcast are going to be looking (i presume) at his transfer from Barca. Think that will be an interesting listen

Been listening to the Price of Football. Very insightful into the horrible state of football finances.

this is where I'm at. Biden as a candidate to me is so similar to Hillary, and that the COVID response and protest response by Pres. Trump is the main reason that is going to change. still is a shame that the best presidential candidates we can get over here are two old men who can barely string together a comprehensive sentence (from very different circumstances mind).

It's crazy to see how much one game impacted his(and Staam's) managerial trajectory. Beating Reading on penalties in the final got them up (Staam didn't last through the next season) and he kept Huddersfield up. And got the Schalke job while Staam is over here stateside now .

Alphonso Davies... He is still young, but man I think he is on track to be great. Excellent pace, decent crosser of the ball and has taken over the left back role at Bayern. I know this is a bit hyperbole, but a few pundits over here stateside consider him a world class left back -
