  1. I'd rather stick with Davis than get Deeney at this point. Very questionable attitude, and don't think he is good enough especially at 32.
  2. If we stay up, wouldn't be opposed to keeping him at Luton for next year as well. Very interesting to see him as the set piece specialist as said before. Don't see him replacing Elmo or Guilbert in the PL yet.
  3. How has he gotten away with this as well, Fernandes?
  4. a little off topic, but when the NBC soccer guys did their podcast about who they might try to tempt for us (a review of each team), one of them actually suggested Pulisic. Granted, this was from before the restart and he has gone completely above our level but still. Anyways, Its good to see other fan bases realize what goofs this lot are with the retirement of #22. Laughing stock to say the least
  5. Have a feeling he already agreed personal terms with one or two other clubs, and that he has a gentleman's agreement that we wouldn't stand in his way of leaving should someone meet our asking price/we get relegated. If we stay up, however, I'm not sure about him leaving. If Manchester United said they weren't going to spend more than £50 mil on Sancho, why would they go out and spend more on Jack when Sancho is more of a priority for them? I'm also guessing that if we do stay up, our valuation of him is going to be around £80 mil or a bit higher, and I don't see anyone forking out that type of money in this climate.
  6. I know he's been mentioned in here before, but gerard deulofeu did his ACL vs Liverpool right before lockdown I believe. No way he would be ready & fit to start the new season right?
  7. I keep coming back to the Ings penalty miss and the Davis missed chance. A +2 GD vs Bournemouth would've been perfect.
  8. Temped to have a look at Emile Smith Rowe
  9. I have a feeling that Reading might be one of the teams getting promotion next year. not sure why
  10. Not quite sure where to put this, but this might become a massive problem for certain teams in the league.
  11. ehhh I think I'd take Douglas Luiz over Phillips. But then again, I haven't really watched much of Phillips either
  12. Pep probably taught him the art of the tactical foul. That was pretty important a few times tonight.
  13. Absolutely over the moon with this. Grealish was immense. Konsa superb, Guilbert after coming on was awesome.
  14. Gimme a point right now and I'd take it
  15. agreed, but i saw a statistic somewhere that when G. Jesus scores, Man City have an almost 90% win ratio.
  16. @Villan4Life have you looked at Keane Lewis-Potter? I see he's been getting a few games for Hull recently and that he's pretty young. Interested to know if he might be one to look out for should they go down again (looking likely)
  17. Selling both of them would be bloody idiotic imo. They're not the best group of wingers, but they are our only wingers at this point. If we sell both, then we will need to bring in 3/4, which is similar to what we thought last year, and we ended up with only the two of them which was extremely short sighted. We need at least one of them to stay as cover/backup. I would be fine selling one of them, provided we can bring 2 (or 3) more in.
  18. In the past few months that this lot has gone above Liverpool in my disliked fan group. It feels like the entire fan base feels entitled to be winning PL after PL just because of Ferguson. It would be delightful if they are beginning what is their "30 year drought" like liverpool had.
  19. but I'd prefer many other managers to get the gig w/us over Pearson.
  20. There were a few managers sacked today (not a Pearson official confirmed yet though).
  21. Every time I think we're done and dusted, other teams leave the door open for us. This is the last time we can take advantage of it. A point or 3 would be massive on Tuesday
