  1. Im the same Rich, up until recently i thought we would be nowhere near a relegration scrap...im not too sure anymore. :|
  2. Petrov has been one of best most consistant performers all season?! :?
  3. You cant fault his passion, and he's right in what he says that he kicks every ball. As a person, he is great, but unfortunately as a Premier League manager he is just not good enough. The squad is there, but for what ever reason the players only ever seem to be playing at 80% with the exception of a couple. Like i say, i respect him but just cant see us being anything other than a mid to lower half team with him in charge. Our squad on paper is impressive.
  4. Something needs to change asap. Ive backed him and supported him, but im sorry, enough is enough. You only have to look at what MON has done with Sunderland, the same set of players (give or take) that Bruce had and look at them. I will always respect McLeish for having the balls to take the job, but there is no room in football for niceties.
  5. Just out of interest, what were they going into that tournement? 50/1?
  6. A cut above. The kid just oozes clas and composure on the ball. A 19 year old kid who comes on and instantly makes an impact. As a few have said, starting him against Man City is brainless, bring him on for the last 10 or 15 minutes to give him a taste against the big boys.
  7. The internet will be around soon kid, start the ball rolling with ideas about a social networking website that can connect people from all around the world, copyright it and call it something catchy like Facetube or something, you never know, it might just net you a few quid!
  8. Watched most of the final round yesterday, some of the shots that Lawrie played were just brilliant. Thought Jason Day was going to sneak it at one point, i think he birdied the first 4 holes and the first 3 on the back 9.
  9. Rooney for me, however i fully expect Gerrard to be named captain if fit. Im not against that, as imo Gerrard is still a class above.
  10. Forget about the racism thing for a minute Bri. Do you think he is a decent bloke? Should be captain of our country? Be seen as a role model of thousands of kids? Like i say, before the racism row came light, i could stand him.
  11. So you've no problem with someone being guilty 'til proven innocent then. That doesn't worry you in the slightest. But i didnt say if i thought he was innocent or guilty Bri. Regardless of if he did or did not (allegedly) call Ferdinand a "**** black word removed", i dont like the man. My view on him is not swayed or influenced one way or the other by his upcoming court case, nor does the outcome of said court case influence my view of him. Dont like him, dont rate him.
  12. Good, **** scumbag word removed of the highest order. No time for the bloke.

  14. Agreed. I think alot of it is to do with people not wanting to lose face and admit that he's not really as bad as they make out.
  15. Similar can be said for certain people who are sticking up for Mcleish. People from both sides seem to go over the top. i personally haven't been too impressed with some of his selections so far this season, and think the club could've gone with a better suited manager. I agree he is trying to get to be more attacking, but i worry about his capabilities in rebuilding the team over the next few years. I agree that some of his tactics and selections at the start of the season were a little strange, but over the last 2 months, i dont really see what there is to complain about? I didnt want him, but was prepared to give him a go and support him for the sake of the team, but as i say, i dont see what there is to moan about at the moment? Im sticking up for him because i feel at the moment he is getting a rough time from some fans when he really doesnt deserve it.
  16. At the end of the day, AM deserves some credit for they way he is now approaching games and trying to be attacking and play football. Unfortunatly there are many on here who walk round with their head so far up their arse they cant/refuse to admit it.
  17. THEY ARE WINNING. Just like they never moaned about Eck's football in the Championship because THEY WERE WINNING. If we were sat in 6th place not a single **** would be given about the "negative" football. But we dont play negative football mate. It's a myth that all the haters cant let go of. To be fair, we did set out negatively in quite a few games earlier in the season. Spurs, United, Newcastle at home come to mind. Yeah, thats probably fair. Was that down to AM being cautious while he settled in and found his best line-up? Who knows. But over the last 2 months, i think the tactics, brand of football and attacking intent have improved 10-fold.

  19. Yep, Warnock needs to be took out of the firing line. Another shite preformance and he might top himself.
  20. Are you saying that this was planned by both the fans and the authorities Bri?
