  1. I cant believe some people would shop their own family!?!?! I find that quite disgusting tbf. For what its worth, i wouldnt shop one of my best mates...let alone my own flesh and blood!!!
  2. Out of curiosity, if you had a family member who was a drug dealer. Would you grass them up too? Yes! I despise drugs! Congratulations new world soldier You'll fit right into the new order. Ever read 1984? Is that the book that that Orville bloke wrote?
  3. Well ive picked my lucky 15. Harry the Viking Grands Cruz Sizing Europe Edeymi Grand Cruz and Sizing Europe should piss their respective races so the pay out isnt massive, but it is better than a kick in the bollox! While i was mulling over who to pick, Harry The Viking went from 7/1 down to 6/1 by the time i put the bet on!!!
  4. Are we expecting Grand Crus to walk the 2:40?
  5. Questionable. Not really. This. It's not questionable, it's just wrong. I'd say there isnt alot between them, Scholes maybe edges it for me.
  6. It'll depend whether you put the right horses in it. ;-) It's 15 bets: 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a fourtimer. So it costs 15 times your basic stake (or 30 if you do it e/w). A lot of bookies do bonuses on them such as double the odds or, occasionally, treble the odds for one winner and a 10% bonus for four winners. If you pick five selection then it's a Lucky 31, six and it's a Lucky 63. Take out the singles and the bets are a Yankee, Super Yankee and a Heinz. Cheers Snowy! Would you advise doing it e/w?* Any tips for today? *i know bugger all about horses & betting!
  7. I rate Lampard very highly, but he's not as good as Gerrard imo. Yes Lampard gets vital goals and is a cracking player, but how many times have you seen him (Lampard) grab a game by the scruff of the neck and single handedly dominate a game for 90 minutes?
  8. Is a Lucky 15 pretty much likely to bag me some cash? How does it work?
  9. being serious, who is he? and not watching The Simpsons, the above clue doesn't help. We got ourselves another Orwellgate, here. Who?
  10. My Spanish is limited and only know the important phrases, so bare with me... Grande cerveza por favour!
  11. People who eat a pack of crisps by pouring them into the mouth. Does my **** fruit i tells ya!
  12. you can't keep us in suspenders like that! Name and shame. I didnt think BOF was a moderator anymore??? :winkold:
  13. You would loose most of it in the loft Mike. Couple of isolators, relay's and a panel. The way it works is that Western Power or whoever your energy supplier is, effectively rent your roof, and you get paid a fee for having the pleasure of a great **** off photovoltaics array lumped on your roof. The energy produced is basically pumped back into the national grid.
  14. Like i said in my first post Mike, the thought of having those on the front of my house (assuming that is the direction you would catch the most sun light) would be a massive put off for me when buying another house.
  15. Was actually a spell of 11 games and I believe we won 8, drew 3. (or at very worst, won 7, drew 4) Also then used for 4 games during the 09-10 season and we won all 4. so works out in 17 games he has played the lone striker we won 12-13 drew 3-4 lost none ? So whatever he does has a lone striker must seem to work for us cos that is some record. AM allso not saying i prefer him to bent as the lone striker either but is some record and am not worried he cant carry the line on his own Its an arguement that Gabby is more effective/plays better as a lone striker?
  16. I agree about the first, and the second I assumed. I thought the issue was the period that it takes to start paying back, in terms of reduced bills. But some company has been plugging it around our way, and claim that we could get them fitted for free under some government scheme. I don't believe them, but I'm still interested enough to find out a bit more. Also, do they have any impact on how well your water/central heating works? I don't want problems with only being able to get half a bath of tepid water, etc. Im having to price for them more and more when doing quotes now. As far as im aware, the free installation has had the rug pulled from underneath it now Mike for domestic installations (or its going to be). We dont tender for houses, but all school tenders and council works are having them installed. I think its something like 5 or 6 years to regain your money on a domestic system.
  17. Makes your house look shite and the initial outlay is pricey.
  18. Agreed. Couldnt disagree more. Bent is anything but clinicle. Gabby is more valueable to Villa than Darren Bent is imo. I would keep Gabby over Bent everytime. lets not forget it was on Gabby's weaker foot. Yeah but i still think if you gave Gabby 100 shots in the area on goal, and you gave bent 100 shots in the same position Bent would score more IMO.. yes it is true bent does need about 3 chances a game usually, but in terms of finishing, Bent is better hands down.. Gabby is more of a winger, because of his blinding pace.. he kept drifting over to the wing, and when Ireland was looking the pass it beyond the CB's there was no one there, because gabby drifts. I honestly think Gabby is more clinical than Bent. Saying that, in a one-on-one, both are 50/50 to convert said chance. As i said before, i think Gabby offers more to the team than Bent. Who do we miss more when they're not on the park? Gabby or Bent? I would say Gabby, half the time you dont even know Bent is playing!
  19. I think Bent is clinical. Far more clinical than Gabby. Whatever about their respective worth to the club, I don't know. I'd like to think Bent is more valuable. I also don't think Bent has a particularly weak foot unlike Gabby, which means it doesn't matter how it falls to Bent. There's a good chance he'll take it. You've gotta admit, when trying to espouse the value of a striker it rings slightly hollow to cite a weak foot as some form of defence Do you really think Bent is clinical Bri? :? I can think of half a dozen one-on-ones or clear cut chances this season he has failed to convert. I was just saying that it was on Gabby's weaker foot in responce to people suggesting he should have scored it. I value a team player greater than a goal poacher who offers very little to the team as a whole.
  20. Agreed. Couldnt disagree more. Bent is anything but clinicle. Gabby is more valueable to Villa than Darren Bent is imo. I would keep Gabby over Bent everytime. lets not forget it was on Gabby's weaker foot.
  21. Its just a way for them to give players the chance to get the DLC upfront for a cutprice fee. Thats all. If you are willing to wait then you pay the normal 1200 MSP's for a map pack. The Elite thing is worth it IMO. Lots of interesting stuff to watch on there (if you like COD of course) and the cutprice DLC is a nice bonus. I think it has been well implemented tbh. Although i know alot of Battlefield fanboys who would say otherwise :winkold: Oh i wonder who you could be talking about??? I enjoyed BF3 and i did get "into it", but im sorry, MW(3) is still the king-ding-a-ling for me as far as first person shooters go.
  22. When i got with the missus, some 4 years ago now. She had 2 cats...Reggie & Ronnie. 1 remains.
