We had this convo the other day didnt we? 30 isnt old in my book, your as old as you feel. 73! Cant be that bad can it? Only kidding mate. I feel like I am 18 still! But is was an age I always looked at when I was younger and thought of as a middle age milestone. Don't feel it though Same her buddy, 30 next year for me. The years roll by alot faster these days but i dont feel any older if that makes sense.

The Masters & The Open are my two favourite sporting events One year I plan to go over for the masters, just looks like paradise Yep, that is one thing i would love to do. I think it can be done for about £8-9k all in for 2 people.

As much as im a bit of a golf nut and love the sport, even not playing yourself do you not appreciate the amount of individual skill that goes into it Mike? What dont you like about it? Have you never played? Played it? Hell no. A good walk spoiled as Mark Twain put it. I DO appreciate the skill involved, and it IS at least a proper sport, unlike darts - but it just doesn't interest me at all. Thats fair enough.

I would rather watch golf than a football match these days. Im really pissed off that im going to miss The Masters because im on my stag-do!

Im not sure if is a bad or a good thing? I suppose it one less thing to worry about/piss you off/ruin your weekend.

But its not only Aston Villa mate, its football in general. Dont get me wrong, i will watch it if its on and i will always suppost Villa, but before, if we were on telly it was a must watch thing...im not arsed either way these days if i dont watch the match.

I know what you mean. I finished playing golf and one of the lads was looking at the scores on his phone, i didnt even think to ask about how the Villa got on, when he read the score out it was a bit like "Oh well...another beer lads?" I didnt even give it a second thought after that.
