  1. Vj, It's a bit gay for the UK! I dont know why but that tickled me!
  2. Pulling my pudding is mine!
  3. What the **** was all that about!?!?
  4. I've never seen The Bucket List but if you like films that are heart-warming and don't require any thinking then I'd recommend Stranger Than Fiction. Will Ferrel puts in a really good acting performance too. It's not a typical Will Ferrel film by the way. Wont be watching it mate...cant stand Will Ferrel!
  5. Alot of the actors in it were amateur actors/actress' anyway. I thought that was how he was meant to come accross imo. A bit slow/quiet and not with it type character.
  6. Is it worth a watch then Bri? It's unremarkable and inoffensive light-hearted feel-good fare. If you particularly like Morethan Freeman or Jack Nicholas then go for it. It's my benchmark for a 6 out of 10 movie. Sounds like a nice put your feet up with a can type film. Nothing that requires to much brain power...the missus should love it then!
  7. T-minus 4 days till Benidorm!!! Im actually dreading it...in a good way!
  8. I cant remember the last time i slept past 7am! One of the many joys in being a dad!
  9. At the risk of starting the Barton argument up again, I'd rather see us relegated than sign that word removed. Yup, horrible excuse for a human being.
  10. Has anyone seen The Bucket List? A mate over the weekend said it was worth a watch.
  11. That was the issue buddy. I genuinely would not have been bothered if she hadn't of text me. Why did she? Surely she wanted someone to look out for her if she wasn't back in time. She doesn't have to confirm her plans to me. But the fact she text me **** it all up. If she didn't text I wouldn't have been bothered. Of course I have feelings as I would hate to see her in a ditch somewhere or in a crash. BUT I am fully over her and would not want to go back there. I love my new girlfriend massively and much more than I ever loved the ex. I genuinely feel happy for the ex that she has met someone new. It makes me feel less guilty about being happy with the new girlfriend. Another thing I don't understand. Why do I feel guilty when she finished with me????? aaaarghhh! I think my problem is I am a nice, decent guy who tries to please everyone all of the time. In the end I am the one who always gets **** over. What do you feel guilty about mate? I have felt guilty about moving on and finding someone else. Also about finding someone who I love more that I did her. Also have felt guilty about sharing my life with someone, going out, intamcy etc while she was at home on her own. Does that make sense? I know it is odd as she finished the relationship, but I just wanted us both to move on so neither of us felt left behind. It is stupidly punishing myself. You need to stop beating yourself up dude. Like you say, harsh as it may sound, she finished with you so **** her! I know what you mean about the being intimate with someone else while she is in the other room but thats just one of those things that come with the arrangement you currently have. You've moved on and your happy, she as moved on is happy, whats the problem? But i will say that while you are living under the same issue, neither of you will be able to move on completely. Thus shown by the antics over the weekend.
  12. Also, i was talking to Dean Kiely yesterday as he's good mates with one of my best mates. He's joined the golf club i play at and i was talking to him on the car park for a good 10 minutes. Lovely bloke.

  14. I will add, that it probably amplifies the situation being as you still live under the same roof. Reading your original post again mate, she texted you to tell you when she would be home so has started the whole situation off. She doesnt text you, there is no issue. Like i said before, i see both sides of the arguement and to be fair both sides are perfectly valid.
  15. Ad...mate...you still love your ex. Not in love with her, but you do love her. Not saying thats a bad thing or you should try and get back with her (no chance of that as she's obviously more bent than a £9 note), just saying that you still love her. I can see both sides of the story to be honest. I understand you were concerned and took steps to ensure she was ok, thats only natural being that you still have feelings for her (dont deny it, remember there is a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone) and i would have done the same. On the other hand, i can see why she is pissed off. Why does she have to confirm her plans with you anymore? Your not together. Its a tough one mate.
  16. We are in shit street...no doubt about it. We wont score enough goals to cruise out of the relegation scrap. Im worried.
  17. Watched Gran Torino again over the weekend. I'd forgot just how much of a good film it is. Brilliant.
  18. Played the 1st round of a match play competition yesterday. It was really tight all the way round, he was 2up after 9 holes, i managed to pull it back to all square after the 11th. So we are all square going into the 18th, ive got the honour on the tee, so what do i do...gob my tee shot short and right. He tickles one down the middle not taking any risks. I need to pull a wonder shot out of the bag and try and hit the green from about 190 yards over trees because he's only got around 120 yards left. So i pull out my 4-iron and cream one towards the green...only for it to clip the top of the tree and drop down towards the stream. He pitches one into around 15 feet. Game over. Lost it on the last. Gutted.
  19. Lost for words tbh. Hope he can get through this, fight it all the way Stan. Get well soon mate. Wigs x
  20. Its still a load of the same middle aged blokes chasing a little ball around a field isn't it. What difference does it make the venue it is at or the name? The games is still the same, they aren't competing directly against each other either so no difference there. I can kinda understand the taking part enjoyment but enjoying a specific event seems odd. Its exactly the same isn't it? You could say that about anything. What's the difference between the world cup final and a Conference North game? That's completely different though isn't it. The top 10 golfers playing at Augusta is pretty much the same as the top 10 golfers playing at *another top US golf course*. The quality on offer in the world cup final is completely different to a conference match so its not comparable. But you see mate, its not like that with golf. Louis Oosthuizen was ranked 54th in the world when he won The Open in 2010, Charl Schwartzel was ranked 29th in the world when he won The Masters last year, Darren Clarke was ranked 111th in the world before winning The Open last year!!!

The games is still the same, they aren't competing directly against each other either so no difference there. I can kinda understand the taking part enjoyment but enjoying a specific event seems odd. Its exactly the same isn't it? Neil Neil Neil...where to start? On The Masters itself. Augusta National is the mecca for all golfers, arguably the most exclusive golf club in the world. It is the 1st of 4 majors throughout the year and entrance is strictly by invitation only (selected by the club itself) unless you are a previous Masters champion, for which you recieve an automatic invitation each year. Unless you are invited to play there by a member, you will never set foot on the course regardless of how much money you have. Now to the golf in general. Its not all middle ages blokes, you've got people like Rory McIlroy current world number 2 (22), Jason Day (24), Rickie Fowler (23) & Matteo Manassero (18 all bursting onto the scene. Yes i suppose the idea of the game never changes but the top 3 names in each event are very rarely the same. Not sure what you mean about not competing directly against your opponants? Unless you mean it relies on your own skill and ability?
  22. Golf. The Masters is the greatest sporting event outside of football imo.
