I have watched Villa this season and i agree its shite. But i can't say that i feel personally offended by the whole situation. Im not happy about it but it certainly doesnt drive me to hate the bloke, like i say he has done nothing wrong in my eyes, he's trying to manage the team to the best of his ability which simply isnt good enough. I personally blaim Lerner for the situation we currently find ourselves in. You actually feel hatred towards Alex McLeish? No offence but i find that a little pathetic. He was offered the chance to manage our club, therefore as i said above, i blaim Lerner for it. Each to their own, i mean who am i to tell you how to feel towards someone? I just cant see how you can hate someone for trying to do their best. Maybe i just dont eat, sleep and live Aston Villa like some of you do. Maybe im not as much of a fan/supporter as some of you. I think the team is really missing Stan at the moment. He's far more important to the team than some give him credit for.

Do people actually "hate" him tho? I certainly dont, at the end of the day he has done nothing wrong and certainly nothing to offend me. He's just not a very good manager.

I think the Holman deal was his vote of confidence. Thats why I am quite excited that it appears only to be loose agreement - that the club can get out of if we change manager. Why would they do that this board has already shown its happy to buy players without a manager. Maybe along the lines of... "Yes we agree to sign Holman for you, as long as you keep us in the league/do a decent job. If you dont, your gone and the deal is off"

I would hardly say a ruptured achilles is through him being injury prone. He also played 28 games last season. I also think labelling him useless is a tad unfair to him. But, hey-ho whats done is done, water under the bridge now.

Disagree, i think had Jenas stayed fit, he would have proved to be a decent loan signing. All in my opinion of course.

I dont see how you can keep him as manager, i really dont. No cup run, flirting with relegation, worst season in the Prem, lowest gates, unhappy fans etc etc. The important thing for me is that he hasnt been publically backed by the board. Fingers crossed.

Wiggy, an interesting list. I would say that it didn't take the respective managers long however to realise the shiteness of those players you mention and drop/move them on. The difference here is that Hutton is still playing with no sign of being dropped/moved on. And you are being a bit harsh on Ormondroyd, he had a good spell at left wing under Taylor if I recall! Dont get me wrong mate, i agree that he shouldnt be playing because he is poor, but with no Warnock, Lichaj is filling in. I would hope once Warnock is fit and back in the team then Hutton would be dropped and either Lichaj or Cuellar would take his place. As for Ormondroyd...nah, he was shit!
