What i mean Bri, is that they are supposed to be a team, they spend throughout a season more time with their team mates than with their missus. I dont know, i think i was just expecting a bit more passion towards the guy who has been their leader on the pitch for so many years.

OT slightly, but was do bad things happen to the genuinely good guys? Ive said it before, but i think Kendrick is only told what the club are prepared to be made common knowledge. They know he is on Twitter and therefore will keep the sensitive stuff away from him. He is effectively the clubs mouth piece to us fans.

So we are to place our trust in a manager before we see how he performs at our club? until he proves we shouldnt do that's EXACTLY what we should do Definately! This time we have secured a manager who arrives at the club with a very promising track record of being successful at what he does and the real potential to take us onwards and upwards. That's a bit different to the last appointment. I would be amazed if he even comtemplated selling Bent but IMO everyone is for sale at the right price. I disagree. I think PL would have told Randy who he wanted to stay at all costs...then everyone else would be available at the right price. On the other hand, if someone came in with a £25m bid for Bent, then obviously the goal posts would move.

Well, good news for me & Mrs Wig. Our house is sold, weve had a bid accepted on a house and the couple who who we are buying off have also had an offer accepted on a house. Mortgage has gone through and everything is now in the hands of the solicitors. Happy days!

well said Richard...its laughable how much MONs spending is brought up.... people make out we were shouting "stop overspending on players MON!" from the roof tops but he continued to do it... whereas the real picture is we were all salivating at the money him and Randy were spending and the results that came with it.... im liking the direction we now seem to be taking signing cheap foreign players and being linked with more... but i can also say i bloody enjoyed the MON regime and his "overpriced" players... lets just move on To be fair, i think the point me and Ash were trying to make on the previous page, was how much of a bargain can be had from shopping abroad. Ie. A Nigel Reo Coker type player (which we desperately needed) who can actually player football, for a snippet of the price paid for what you would get in the British transfer market.

I think PL will look to build the team around SI. Any creativity and forward thinking will come through him, so he will maybe look to make him star of the show. We all know that SI is a huge confidence player, and it wouldnt at all surprise me if he was made vice-captain and told "ok...go and show me how good you are". I think if we can get a solid back 5 and with Karim doing the dirty work behind him, SI will be free to play his naturally game without using up energy chasing back like he was ordered to under AM. Big season coming up for SI...and ive every faith that he will prove a hell of a lot of people wrong.
