    Stephen Ireland for me....without a shadow of doubt. Make him capatain, fill him full of confidence and let him play his natural game. Wouldnt be at all surprised if Lambert did make him captain and told him "ok...go out there and show me how good you are!" Im predicting a massive season for Mr. Ireland.

    I'm not saying he's a good player - I just don't think he deserves ALL the stick he gets. No-one is being abusive, just saying he is woeful and nowhere near the standard expected by the fans of this club...and rightly so imo. Im hoping thats a joke. The abuse he gets on here is unreal. Not from me doesnt! I will say he is crap, shite, what ever you want, but i never have and never will personally abuse any player. Like i say, he's nowhere near good enough and i will wish him well in the future, but im certainly not going to be sad to see him leave.

    I agree mate and i like the way Lambert is working, but there is a massive difference between having 2 or 3 decent squad players and 1 very good 1st team starter. Yes we need the depth and i would like to see maybe another 2 players on the par of what has come in so far, but also a marquee signing that everyone would agree would instantly improve the 1st team.

    Lets hope he can do it here, does this now rule out Nathaniel Clyne? Apparently it does - Clyne's not coming just been told - messing us about so went elsewhere. Verbal agreement as well with player - just goes to show it's all about agents and £££s! So Clyne had agrred to come but his agent just wanted too much cash?

    Feck me another 'in Lambert we trust.' Why do we place our trust in a manager who has just come from Norwich? Give him at least a season folks to see how he performs before we know whether he's the real McCoy or not. :? Taking Norwich from League One to missing out on goal difference on a top half finish in the Premiership in 3 years is enough for me. ILWT Yep, good enough for me too.
