Yep, that is a fair argument. But the way I see it is we would struggle to attract anyone equally or more talented than SI, and since you can only field 11 players, at some point you need to bite the bullet and pay more to someone who raises the overall quality. Agree with both points. Ive said before, that if you were to replace Stephen Ireland with someone of equal talent then your talking in excess of £10m.

I just have a horrible feeling that if we sold him he would turn back into a world beater for someone else. Still think he has a hell of alot to offer. I still cant understand why people want to get rid of the most technically gifted players on our books. Like it or not, Stephen Ireland is currently the best footballer at Aston Villa football club.

I will definately be purchasing the away top, think it looks brilliant. Not sure which one to get for the little dude? Just a question on the sizing, are they "fitted" tops or do they come true to size? I always have large in tops, am i going to need x-large?

HUGE weekend of golf for me. Club Championships, 36 holes over 2 days. Need to get a decent round under my belt tomorrow, finishing around level par net. Then go for it on Sunday. Play shit tomorrow and i might aswell not bother turning up Sunday!

We just sorted the mortgage out for the new pad we are buying. We have left it at 21 years remaining (mortgage free by the time im 50) and plan to over pay. Our mortgage adviser told us that we over pay by as little as £50 per month, we will knock 5 years of the mortgage and save, get this.......£28,000 in interest!!!

Clark is 6 ft 2", i'd say thats tall enough, although he does need a good meal or 2. He's twice the player at centre half than he is as a DM. Each to there own tho mate. -

When was Clark bullied ut of a game? :? Newcastle 6-0 springs to mind Your really going to judge him on that game!?!? Freak game where not a single player would have got anything above a 2/3 mark. Where did he play that game by the way? Not centre half. My point is, we havnt seen the best of him because he has never had a run of games in his true position. -
