I'll need proof, as is the new "rule" ;-) I take it back. I read it on Sickipedia and thought i'd read it here. Very noble Benjamin and a victory for the rule Quite. And my name's not Benjamin We know...its Steve -

One of our main competitors have gone under today, meaning we have shed loads of work already, plus we are being phoned left right and centre from builders to finish of their work Ive moved to take on a few of there lads to cope with the extra work, but i cant help feeling sorry for the poor **** who are left with no work and no income.

So thats now Yaya Toure and David Silva to add to the squad consisting of: Carlos Tevez Santa Cruz Craig Bellamy Adebayor Adam Johnson Gareth Barry De Jong SWP Kompany Michael Johnson Viera Robinho Stephen Ireland Wayne Bridge Micah Richards Toure Lescott Shay Given Zabaleta Onuoha Joe Hart Plus James Milner by the looks of things. Far and away the best squad in the league by a country mile, and they havnt finished spending yet! -

Summer 2010 Transfer Talk / Unfounded Speculation

I'm bored of people using nothing but stats to decide on a player. It is a lazy and more importantly it is often an inaccurate way of assessing a player's worth or ability. If discussions have resorted to nothing but that then why not save everyone the trouble and just link to a soccerbase stat page. Hugo Rodallega is one of very few players who have managed to come to the Premier League from the Mexican league and almost instantly take to the style of play and pace of the game. It was a huge jump to make in practically every area footballing and non-footballing and yet he did it effortlessly. And by extension we have yet to see the best of him. Much in the same way as others will rightly defend Agbonlahor, Rodallega too has improved each time he has performed for Wigan. He is only going to get better and he is already good enough in my view to walk into this side. From a physical and football development point of view he has 4 years of improving before he reaches his peak as a footballer. From an experience and lifestyle point of view he is also only going to become even more familiar with the English game and become more settled and a better player. He was a stand-out player in a poor Wigan side that had lost most of it's other stars going into last season. He was one of few who came out of last season there with any credit IMO and in my view without him they would have gone down. Yeah but for the prices being quoted BOF 15million - come on???? Milner £28m...i dont think anything else needs to be said! :| -

No chance of getting Joe Cole, as its all but been confirmed that an offer has been put on the table from Arsenal. Rodallega would be a decent buy...but for the £15m asking price?! -
Exactly that. It was the right thing to do, but it's just tearing me up because it's just gonna be a huge gap from where she was, and it's gonna be hard to replace. Factor in that she was also my first love - I know it sounds very cliche, but she's also my first proper girlfriend too, like one that actually meant and does still mean something to me. I've never experienced this sort of feeling with anyone before, and never had to deal with sort of break up either. She's a very insecure person, so she'd push me away, because she was unsure about how much I loved her, when in fact I did, and it was obvious to everyone else, but she just needed that reaffirming to herself. And that has just built up, and it happens regularly too, so it just gets me down, and eventually it's just broke me down. I couldn't do it anymore. The actual break up itself was the easiest part in fact, it's just sitting here thinking about it that is just absolutely destroying me. And I just got out the shower, put on spotify, pressed play, and the first song on shuffle was a song that reminded me of her, and I just broke down. Yep, i know that feeling. Every where you turn, and everything you do just seems to remind you of her. It is cliche but its also very true that you never forget your first love. For me it was a case of ''will i ever find anyone as good as her'' but you always do meet someone new. I split up with my previous girlfriend of 5 years thinking im never going to find anyone who will make me as happy as she did...but now ive met my soul mate who is about to give birth to our first child in 4 weeks, so heres to show there is someone out there for everyone. If i can give one piece of advice, it's dont go chasing for a new girlfriend and enjoy being single for a while, theres no rush, and you will meet someone in good time (assuming your not a recluce ).

Let's get pissed and pull some fatties! Thats the spirit!

Whats up dude? Split up with the girlfriend, 16 months to the day aswell. It's horrible. She just returned all the stuff she had accumulated from the time we were going out aswell, there was shit loads, so many memories. I ended it aswell, but it's hit me so hard. They are never easy, maybe more so when you do the breaking up, as i imagine now your sat there thinking ''have i done the right thing?'' Why did you break up if you dont mind me asking? (tell me to piss off if its none of my business)

Whats up dude?

The Strangers is a decent film, and as Steve said The Ring is pretty scary. Event Horizan is a brilliant film.

SPECULATION : Milner to City/Utd/Chelsea/Spurs
wiggyrichard replied to Mr_Dogg's topic in Villa Talk
I'm still stunned you think we can easily replace him. Well we have Sidwell to fill the void i suppose. Im not saying it will be easy to replace him as he has been brilliant for us, but it IS possible to replace him. Did you think that when MON signed him £12m he would turn out like this? Its been done once so its possible it can be done again. Its just that i dont see how you can turn that sort of money down (and by the sounds of it RL is not going to).
