  1. Luke Young loves the fans and the club but he has sold his house and bought a house in LONDON . He has never asked to leave his only problem was asking ONeil why he was being played out of position and he was never forgiven for it . On the thing about Randy and decisions he isn't getting involved nor telling MacDonaold or ONeil previously who to pick or sell . He made the comment about Luke I am told as a fan but he will leave any dealings up to the Manager . Ireland was bouth purely as a replacement for an outgoing player of which the caretaker manager was in full agreement with . So is Luke Young still looking to leave?
  2. Just a question...but how do you know who the candidates are?
  3. This is how i feel Dem, Jol 1st, if not him i would rather MacDonald got it.
  4. MYSTERYMAN...could you just tell me if Luke Young is happy at the club (im assuming he is now buzzing that MON has left) or is he looking for an escape route? No way should we be flogging Young, as i said, easily one of the best right backs in the league.
  5. It worries me if our board are deciding who they'd like to let go and who they'd not. Lerner shouldn't have an opinion on things like this, he should leave this to the manager. To be fair it was only ever MON who didnt rate Luke Young, everyone else can see that he is clearly one of the best right backs in the league.
  6. Ronald Koeman So you know that your on the list of candidates...yet you havnt been contacted by the club?!?! Of course Ronald...
  7. What do you mean Mike?
  8. Straight forward cruciate? No such thing mate. You have two cruciate ligaments in the knee, the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and the anterior crucuate ligament (ACL), Delph has done his ACL. The ACL injury is by far the worst one as it is right in the inside of the knee meaning more intrusive surgery and thus can lead to more complications, infections and such like. The operation is a reconstruction operation which involves taking a graft of tendon from the kneecap to replace the damaged ligament. It is a nasty, nasty injury and as I said earlier in the thread it took Arteta 11 months to make a come back. It used to be a career ending injury until the last 10 to 15 years, its a bad one. These days players do make it back from it but some are never quite the same others are we just have to hope Delph is, his age will help with that. Cheers mate. Horrible horrible injury then.
  9. What did he actually do? Was it a straight forward cruciate? or was there a bit more to it? Can we expect he to be as good as new once all fixed or will something be missing?
  10. Legalise it all. If people want to dabble, they know the risks!
  11. They would have liked Keane pre MON Quitting but now we have no permanent manager and they won't sign anyone other than Ireland now . Spurs wanting silly money anyway for Keane . So we will go I suspect with what we have just expect more rotation In all fairness, we do have a good squad, and a bit of rotation could be the difference...and getting Ireland to replace Milner. Reo Coker Delph Collins Sidwell Gabby Delfounso Davies Cuellar Heskey Salifou All players who didnt feature on Saturday...that is a good squad IMO.
  12. Stop talking in code you two!!! :winkold: Any news on anything at all Gaz?
  13. Sounds fair enough. Its nice to see that good form = a place in the team/squad.
  14. Sven was almost odds on favourite yesterday...2 + 2 = 5 *i do think Bradley is gonna be the new gaffer to be honest*
  15. Sven would be more interested in nailing the cleaner!!!
  16. So we agree that Jol would be a perfect replacement 8) Why would you not want Pulis?
  17. Yes, cracking manager! As someone said earlier, Ian Holloway could be a rough diamond. Glenn Hoddle...no **** way to whoever suggested it!
  18. Whats your point? I think we have established that about 95% of Villa fans would make him 1st choice. :winkold:
  19. So just because people dont like O'Neill doesnt automatically mean they have a direct replacement in line. The O'Neill haters are just as bad as the O'Neill cant do no wrong and is second only to Paul McGrath on this earth grigade!
  20. Undecided on him, i think his lack of experience would get in the way.
