    I'd imagine that it's quite possible his advisors think they can (or actually can) get a larger return on that money than the cost of the mortgage. But would that not happen if you just brought the property out right Snowy? Why do you need a mortgage to that?

    Bit of a question that im hoping someone can help me with please. Tiger Woods is worth a reported £600m, so why has he taken out a mortgage for £36m to build his new pad in Florida? Would you just not pay cash and be done with it? Or does he take out a mortgage and let his interest pay for it thus not eating into his fortune?

    Dodgy or not he is still a Spurs player now. And for two thirds of the price of Stewart Downing......who said English players' prices are over-inflated? :shock: Agreed mate. Yes its dodgy, but they have got away with it so fair play to them.

    I cant believe some are liking Nathan to the **** Moore brothers!!! Are we not forgetting he was given an extended leave beacuase he was on international duty over the summer with England?!?! **** hell...talk about turning mole hills into mountains...get a **** grip!!!

    I agree with all that. As much as i would love to say ''give it to KM he deserves it!'' and my heart would love that, my head is saying ''its a massive ask''. My ideal situation as i said previous would be for KM to be an assistant to whoever is appointed. The last thing i would want is for KM to be appointed, Villa to struggle, and as we all know he would then be bombed out of the club by the fickle fans we have....thus losing a great coach with 15 years service.

    Ive actually come round to the idea of this. Yes...he's a bit of a tit, but...he is a brilliant club manager. 1. Jol 2. McLaren 3/4. Houllier or Sven MacDonald as 1st team assistant manager to one of those named above would be an ideal solution for me. Ive got nothing against MacDonald as i think he has/is doing a decent job, i just think its a massive ask to throw him in there and expect him to do well.
