    I am more than happy with that set-up. Very good appointments and i think KM will also be happy as will the players with his appointment as coach.

    We're all pretty used to signing garbage and still finishing 6th, maybe this time the garbage will at least have some fancy names. Bullshit. Martin O'Neill signed our whole f'n team and we did well every season. We all slated him for paying 12mil for Milner and 9mil for Ash. We were wrong, he was right. All the poor players he signed cost only a few mil. Davies £10m Sidwell £5m Heskey £50,000 per week wages Downing £12m when we could have had Johnson for £6m Shorey £4m If thats not spunking cash then i dont know what is?

    Houllier is coming... Jol isnt, not now, not in January, not at the end of the season, not ever... Get used to a Frenchy in charge and get used to his shite signings (even tho he built a squad that together won the Champians League but some of us we conveniently forget about that wont we) Onwards and upwards with Houllier in charge...in Gerard we trust!!!

    There is no way on this earth that Houllier is going to uproot his family and move to a different country for 9 months worth of work. He is no doubt well off already so its not like he is desperate for work. Im happy, i think he will do well for us. Martin Jol could have flopped if he came over. Hell...with Houllier in charge we might get a foriegn signing!

    Agreed at times I read this site it depresses the life out of me the negativity and RL must be sometimes wondering if it's worth the grief . The man or woman who invented the the digital message board did the world one of the greatest disservices in the history of mankind. He gave the everyday moron an outlet. Yep, they sure did!

    No matter who was/will be appointed, there will always be a percentage of fans that would not be happy. Randy is doing what he thinks is best for the club, he is not here to make every fan happy. Houllier is a very good appointment, the best of an average bunch who were available.

    Jol is a no go, as is Moyes IMO. So that leaves Curbishly, Houllier, MacDonald and Sven as the main candidates does it not? Houllier and Sven i think would do decent enough jobs and i would happily take them into the club as manager. Curbishly and MacDonald i would still be ok with. I just dont want the pressure piled on MacDonald (as it will) then he gets bombed out of the club after 15 years service and we lose a very good member of the coaching staff.

    He's not a goalkeeper, he's not a centre-back, he's not a full-back, he's not a winger, he's not a striker, hmmmm. Michael Carrick, Tom Huddlestone, Gareth Barry, Scott Parker, Lucas, Petrov are central midfielders...Stephen Ireland occupies a role which is nothing like any of these players.

    To not lose 6-0 to Newcastle in a match in which, by all accounts, we were over ran in midfield. I also did not expect to crumble at home to RV and to concede two goals in two minutes, one of which had nothing to do with SI I am happy to concede. I was asking what you expected from SI as a player?
