  1. Rumours are flying around that Torres had a £50m buy-out clause inserted when he signed his last contract extension. I hope he stays in the PL, love watching him play, best striker on the planet IMO when on form.
  2. Enough for me and my family to live comfortably, do what i want when i want to, treat myself (within reason) when i want and not have to watch every penny. How ever much you earn is never enough mind.
  3. "Craig Gardner's done it for Blues....the local lad and boyhood Blues fan!!!" AAAARRRGGGGHHHH
  4. Would be interested to see what happened if the poll was reset? Im thinking it would be the opposite way round now.
  5. The whole Andy Grey/Richard Keys thing pisses me off! It just shows what a lack of humour the country has, such a knee jerk reaction is way OTT and pathetic.
  6. I actually really like the 'rule with an iron fist' approach.
  7. Thought I read that Villa will not make up loan player wages. Thats the way to go, if they want him that bad they will pay the lot.
  8. Just imagine Carroll alongside Bent...oh dear lord!
  9. Yes, that and a lazy, greedy little shit. That too
  10. Im gutted that he's a fruitcake.
  11. A day of rest. It's the one day of the year I get to be (and want to be) Lord Muck. Though mine is Dec 27th and I'm typically off work anyhoo, but I get a day off everything If your birthday was say December 8th, would you book a day off work Bri?
  12. People who have days off work because its their birthday! Seriously, why?
  13. Do people scrunch or fold? Im a folder.
  14. which ones in particular do you think? Midfielders, i know he's not everyones cup of tea but when Petrov was out we looked lost. I really dont think some realise how important he is to our team, he's a massive loss when he's out.
  15. Very true Jez, there is no possible way you could lump all of our slump on GH shoulders. Or is it just coincidence that our injured players return to the squad and become available, and our form improves?
  16. Get this seaon out of the way then take stock in the summer. In fairness you cant say its his fault with our injury crisis, not having a preseason with his players and not getting his own players in. He is shaping the team into his mould now with players he wants in and there is a definate improvement. Also shipping out the deadwood and bad apples. In all honesty, now he has players available he is doing well.
  17. Ok he hasnt played well in his position (he may have played there but hasnt been given a licence to roam and create like he had at Man City without worrying about defensive duties), that still doesnt explain why he has been playing with an injury.
  18. Apart from the fact he's been carrying an injury since he arrived and been played out of position...other than that i agree. What's his position then? :? Behind the striker and he has not played there. Apart from... Chelsea, Sunderland, Blackburn, Liverpool, Burnley games.... :? Check the team sheets, or well just think back to the actual games...he was playing attacking midfield, behind a striker. Just because thats how Andy Gray shows it on his screen doesnt mean thats how they line up. I would say he has pushed on as a CM and not played behind the striker. No but had you watched the games, he's been off the striker. :? Chelsea - Reo-Coker + Petrov behind him. Liverpool - Hogg & Clark. Blackburn - Bannan + Hogg Sunderland - Petrov + Reo-Coker. Burnley - Sidwell + Reo-Coker. He was ALWAYS the most advanced midfielder whenever he's played under Houllier, he's always been close to the striker and in that hole. He's always had the freedom to get forward, those midfield pairings tell the story. Houllier said: "He won't be playing in Ashley's position. I've done that before and it didn't work. "So I'm not stupid, I'm not doing it again." but of course...out of position.... So what are you trying to say?

  22. This is madness, he hasnt played injury free OR in his best position since he's been at the club. Yet 90% of the people are ready to get shot of him!?!? He has the potential to be the best player at the club and is the most technically gifted player at the club...and people want to get rid?!?! :bonk:
  23. Agree, Which makes it all the more stranger that he hasnt been seen since. He's injured isnt he?
