Thats what i think. :nod: Seems a bit coincidental doesnt it? Only 48 hours ago most people were saying the deal was off, something's changed in the mean time. Yep, strange how suddenly they have jumped from offering £18m to £23.5m?!?! Im guessing the rumour Torres wants to go is true and Suarez id a replacement. If Torres stays that is a pretty smokey front line.

Not even about the bit you syphon off the main accounts into that one in the Caymen Islands? Shhhh! No need for any of that mullarkey, I get nearly £20K tax free, the next £20K is taxed at 10% and everything I earn above that is at 20%. I pay a lot more in national insurance than I do income tax. What do you do out of interest Risso?

Agree with all that Baz, it's nice to have money to splash about, but happiness and health for me and my family is more important than having thousands in the bank.

I don't know, I don't think I could ever stand eating at posh restaurants every day or drive a Porsche. Can't stand it. I can't begin to think of living in a mansion either - too big for my tastes. See this is where people differ. I know people who earn a considerable amount of money yet still live in a modest 3 bedroom house, drive a 10 year old car, dont go on holiday's and dont spend any money really. Like i say everyone is different. But what if you earnt enough money not to worry about checking your bank balance? Would that change the way you spent your money?

Is that necessarily true? It's not true at all. I got a significant pay rise a few years ago and I still spend the same now as I did when I was in my old job. Congratulations...you are the minority!

At moment the top goalscorers in football Messi and Ronaldo are not strikers. Except for Villa their is no brilliant strikers out there. I do like Llorente and a move to a really big team might help get there to a top level. The only other top strikers for me are out of form in Forlan and Drogba Dont you rate Torres as one of the best out there Zatman?

Is that necessarily true? Well obviously not forr everyone, but i would say 99% of people it would. You earn more money so you eat at better restaurants, buy a better car, buy more designer clothing, better more luxurious holidays, buy a nicer larger house, better schooling for your kids...all at extra cost. You treat money with less respect.

only to a certain point i think A comfortable lifestyle would be enough for me ... nice house , nice holidays know that i've provided for the children and their future etc but I'd never be comfortable with having too much money whilst friends of mine were having to sell a kidney to put food on the table .. for sure you could help them out if you were filthy rich and were that concerned for them but I don't think it makes for a comfortable situation alround .. True, bet where do you draw the line at having loads of money and too much money? As your income increases so does your lifestyle and expenditure.

Since when did VT turn into RAWK? Indeed. Torres is a superb player, but he isnt even the best striker in the Spanish national team when on form. IMO Torres's all round game is better than Villa.

Yep, apparently he's asked Liverpool to listen to the Chelsea offer. Liverpool are right up shit creek, saying that, Suarez isnt a bad replacement is he? If he settles?

Pretty much sums it up. I earn decentish money, but regardless, you always want more. We are no different than footballers in reality, just on a smaller scale.
