  1. Out of interest, why do you say that?
  2. Shillzz is right, there is no way Lerner will sack Houllier before the end of the season. My choice Billy?...Rafa or Jol, failing those i would go for Curbishley.
  3. no thank you. he is a baffon, a very poor choice of amanger Decent club manager, but yes Dem, he is a grade A bellend!
  4. It looked pretty ghey to me! Why did you put a sad face after that?
  5. I thought he was bent? Then again Shakira could turn any bloke straight!
  6. Ive really really tried to like it but i just cant get into it. Their first 2 albums were unbelievably good. Just much prefer their original style to the synthy stuff they put out in the third album. I think they had to move on and change styles. TBH I think there was quite a change in style from the first to the second too but the change from album two to three was much more noticeable because of the synthy stuff making it obvious. Can see why some didn't like it, too much of a change for some I suspect. I just think if it wasnt broken then why fix it? :? But like you say, some people probably prefer the 3rd to the 1st and 2nd.
  7. I disagree. I think that any player who can't play in any position of a standard 4-4-2 formation, is ever going to be a great player in the prem. To be fair to him, he hasnt really been given a chance has he? Even when he did play he was carrying an injury according to some people ITK. I dont think he has a future with us at the moment, but maybe if we take him back and give him a full pre-season the situation could change for the better. With Young most likely leaving we could still have a ready made replacement in Ireland. In fairness Lex, his best position isnt in a standard 4-4-2.
  8. Im so gutted that he has turned out to be a nut job. Such a technically gifted player that has all the potential to be one of the best in the league.

  10. Bricks & Mortar is a tune though. EDIT: My pedant-radar has gone off... *slap* Sort it out, man! Notice the t in the is not a capital, thus not intended to be part of the name. 8)
  11. Maybe musical taste is subjective ? I think the Stone Roses are amazing and Ian Brown is as talented as John Squire , if not more so . His solo albums alone are worthy enough to class him as a legend . From anything ive heard from him live, he has a terrible voice.
  12. I dont know much about nuclear reactors, but i can work out that this is a very very bad thing, right? What happens once the fuel rods melt?
  13. Stone Roses for me were shite...ive never understood the whole Ian Brown legend thing?
  14. When a band decide to change their music style for some strange reason, and the resulting 'sound' is utter garbage!!! Its not broke so dont **** fix it!!!
  15. Personally, I love their first album. Much like Definitely Maybe it's full of noise and doesnt have a bad song on it. But again, much like Definitely maybe, the subsequent albums were pap as the respective bands tried to evolve into something that would perhaps be considered more artistic? I found this with the Editors who i love, their first 2 albums, The Back Room and An End Has A Start were amazing. Then Tom Smith decides he wants to go all synthesizers, keyboards and computers in In This Light and on This Evening and the album they produces is gash! Off to the "things that piss me off..." thread. :x
  16. Im not sure George is up to hiking yet mate! As stupid as this question seems, that's your kid isn't it? Yes mate...just over 7 months now

  18. I know in the back of my mind its not going to be great, but for a cheap little get-away before our summer holiday's im sure it wont be too bad.
  19. Me. What are you expecting Your ... Why are you Neil?! :| If its a cheap getaway then could be alright. Its all geared around getting money out of your pockets. There are slot machines everywhere. The entertainment is laughable mostly. The beer is overpriced and usually flat, lots of trashy families about. A couple of examples. 1) They never give you a £5 note with your change, they always give coins (in the hope they'll find their way to a slot machine). 2) Once I ordered a double chicken breast for dinner, price was surprisingly reasonable. When it arrived the tight bas**rds had sliced it in half so it was still technically a 'double breast' but only half the thickness. Expect lots of unruly children running around with glow in the dark everything. Its alright for a day or 2 away by the seaside (better than being at home) but its generally geared towards the lower end of the spectrum of holiday maker. Fecking marvallous! Just been on the website and they actrually list a Burger King as one of their restaurants!?!?

  21. Anyone ever been to a Haven Holiday Park before?
  22. That Asian girls always look like they're crying when having sex.
