  1. Me too mate, i think people are forgetting that he is being kept out of the Man City team by the best keeper in the league. I say again, imo Given would still command the #1 spot in any team in the league apart from Liverpool, Man City & Chelsea. It's crazy for people to be against this signing!
  2. I assume your talking about his shoulder mate? Im sure the medical staff would push him to his limits to see if there was any lasting damage, also it the same as signing a £20m player who then does his crutiate within 10 minutes of his debut then never plays again, shit happens mate. Im sure he hasnt turned shite over night.
  3. I still for the life of me cant see how some people think this is a bad idea? He is still a top top keeper, i suppose there is just no pleasing some people.
  4. Yeah. Looks like he's wearing 1 red boot and 1 blue boot He sure is 1 crazy mofo!
  5. Come Stevie! I really hope you knuckle down and find your form. Nay, isnt Ireland the one far left...leading the group?
  6. Yep, after last season, a sold defence is a must!
  7. Everyone has a price, and it just so happens that the club fell that Downings is £19m. The club is a business lets not forget. People say we shouldnt be selling our best players, well if your best players dont want to be hear then its a little difficult. The clubs stance was always that Stewart was not for sale, however since that statement i would expect that Stewart has made it clear to the club that he would like to move to Liverpool, the club then (and rightly so) assume Stewart no longer wants to be at the club and they have set his valuation which id £19m, which Liverpool will either meet and he leaves or they dont and he stays. AVFC are not just selling there best players to line Randy's pockets, they are taking into consideration what the players wants, in this case it is clear that Stewart wants to play for Liverpool and has told the club this, that is why their stance has changed and they have set a price.
  8. THIS - end off discussion. The idea of letting him go is silly at best. He has the talent, lets give it another shot. I actually laughed out loud reading this. What would be funny, was if we got rid of him and someone took a chance on him with a manager who shows him that he is wanted and gets him playing like he did that season at Man City. Second thoughts...that wouldnt be very funny at all.
  9. Got into a game of hardcore sabotage last night on Convoy, i ran to the petrol station end of the map and climbed up onto the high level walk way above the freeway. Claymore at one end, while equipped with my Commando c/w red dot sight, slight of hand, before i knew it had 8 kills, called in my cobra and picked a target for my napalm strike, all this within 3 or 4 mins, then... "connection lost: player kicked" Tossers!
  10. I would love AJ, but i cant see why Man City would want to sell him, they would want a hell of a lot for him imo.
  11. Still **** all pal...let it go...i take your word for it!
  12. Not sure what Ashley Cole and Cheryl getting back together has to do with Alan Hutton? :? :winkold: I've just tested it and it works for me :? Help me out dude, what am i looking at? Its the report of when he beat his Dad up from March 2009. I still cant see it but i take your word for it mate. Im a little different to some on here as in the fact i couldnt give a shit what players do away from football, just like i would be very happy if we signed Joey Barton. Just to clarify, i do not condone kicking **** into your old boy!

  15. I would love to know how you know he is trouble?
  16. Just hand in a transfer request and **** off, otherwise sit down, shut up and fall back in line because Liverpool aint going to pay the £25m that we want!
  17. No offence Rich, but ive been posting on this site for a couple of years now, and in all that has gone on over that time, im still yet to see a positive post from yourself!? look harder, or in fact not so hard check out the first post of this thread I stand corrected, 1 in 36,397........ :winkold:
  18. That's as maybe. But you're describing (the good) half of the Premier League there. Maybe we are just not used to handling players of this ability and/or mindset. The flair players can often be more difficult to keep happy. But if we could do it then he'd solve a big problem. Many on here dont buy that ''he's streets ahead of anyone else in the squad in terms of ability'' line, but i do. Its no coincidence that when he was playing alongside Robiniho he looked like a superstar. He is that good.
  19. Yeah...then we can sell him to one of the top 4 for twice as much as we paid...oh wait....*facepalm* :winkold:
