  1. The problem is Wigan know that we have just had £36m put into the bank, so they will try and cream it for as much as they can. I think it will end up at about £12m. AM obviously rates him highly, im sure he also realises that we really really need him, so im positive a deal will be done.
  2. Reminds me of when i used to got to the roller disco in my yoof!
  3. No thanks, 32. Really?!?! Didnt think he was that old.
  4. If we cant get N'Zogbia, how about Craig Bellamy?
  5. A grown up with a mental age of a ten year old kid.
  6. Cracking keeper, still in the top 4 keepers in the league.
  7. Good stuff, glad this one hasnt dragged on. We do have a better deal than Liverpool.
  8. Slur that again? Have you started drinking already? Ye olde English Wiggy and no thats not what im drinking :winkold: Furry muff!
  9. Nor me mate, i think some people just like to moan for the hell of it. Not really. I'm concerned that when his shoulder goes again we're left with Guzan. Now Given cannot collect crosses but Guzan takes it to a whole new level. I think we may have touched on this before, im sure the medical team will be pushing that shoulder to limit during his medical. They will know all about his previous injuries. If they are not 100% sure that his shoulder is fine, they will not give him the ok.

  12. Brilliant bit of business, i can see why some are still have a pop at the board over our transfer dealings thus far!?!? Because "thus far" we have sold our two best midfilders, released our defencive mid and keeper and haven't bought anyone to replace those 4 players. "Thus far" our transfer dealings have been shit for the team. A team which struggled to finish midtable last season I might add. Thus far, we have replaced our goalkeeper with one of equal or better quality depending on your own opinion (mine is that he is better than Brad) Also thus far, we are about to sign a player of equal or better abaility depending on your own opinion, than Stewart Downing whilst at the same time pocketing £10m. We havnt replaced Young i agree, but i think that AM is hoping Ireland will turn out to be that very replacement. We have got a better deal here than Liverpool have. Al in my own humble opinion.
  13. Off topic i know, but i too would love Joey Barton at Villa. Him or Scott Parker are exactly what we need. Back on topic...N'Zogbia...yay!
  14. That defence horrifies me it should be: hutton---cuellar---dunne---young The original defense was the same defense that was the best in the league next to Chelsea the season before last. It CAN work.
  15. Given > Foster. The only thing Foster has over Given is his age. Other than that Given is an all-round better keeper imo. I will say this, Given will save us morepoints/win us more games than Foster would have done. *in my humble opinion of course
  16. Superb signing, really happy with this. An improvement on Brad imo. Given is still in the top 4 or 5 keepers in the league imo. Well done Randy and well done McLeish for getting this one wrapped up.

  18. Im lost, i get that Colin Rocket Polisher = Neil Warnock. pourquoi?
  19. I like him too. No nonsense. Ruffles feathers. Zero tolerance for bullshit(ters). More Colin rocket polishers please. I actually think he is a very good manager tbh. I would be interested to see what he would perform if he was heavily backed in the transfer market.
  20. To the sensible crowd its excellent business mate, but you know what VT has been like lately..... I wouldn't be too confident going into the new season with that midfield. Ireland's mad, Makoun's hardly pulled up any trees and Albrighton's a lightweight who goes missing for half a season. We need to spend serious cash if don't want another season like last. I also think we need to stregnthen in other areas, Parker would be brilliant. But i wouldnt be displeased if that was the 4 that lined up against Fulham.
  21. To the sensible crowd its excellent business mate, but you know what VT has been like lately..... You honestly think that midfield would be top half in the permier league? What happens when we get an injury? Or if Ireland doesn't regain form? Or if Makoun doesn't adapt to the premier league? We are looking ver very shaky as a squad going into this season. if, if, if...... If my auntie had a cock she'd be my uncle......
