  1. If your 'heat of the battle' scenario happened, then those involved (on all sides) ought to be held to account for their actions rather than some sort of presumption that it's all bad luck and their own fault, necessarily, for breaking the law. If, indeed, it is just bad luck then okay; if it requires dodgy Freddie to say that they have an underlying health condition* then it may not be. That way lies a very, very dangerous path - one which people are quite willing to hare down until it becomes them, someone they know or someone with whom they may have sympathy (or with whom they may empathize) incurring the bad luck. *It may be the case that someone else agreed with dodgy Freddie, I'm not sure. And here we are back to the namby pamby petal dick policing policy! Police cant use force when required 'just in case'. What, are they supposed to give everyone a medical before moving them on? Shit happens and those idiots should'nt be there in the first place. If you dont want trouble and a bit of pushing and shoving, stay the **** away and mind your own business!
  2. I asked him what he was suggesting. It was a question hence the question mark. Well im not one of the Eggheads, but im going to have a stab at it... Im guessing he was implying that... Im struggling to say the arguement you are trying to provoke Snowy? The cops are using a little bit of force, Neil just doesnt want someone to fall over with an underlying heart complaint and cause an inquest costing millions of tax payers money because the gypos simply wouldnt leave when asked to.
  3. Are you suggesting that the state and its representatives shouldn't be held to account for their actions? Where does he say that? :? I think the bit Neil mentions about 'underlying health issues' is the important part.
  4. I know, all we need know is somebody to 'go down' with an underlying health issue and we'll have another G8 inquest dragging on for months and costing millions. I said a page or so ago, they behave like animals...they get treated like animals.
  5. Ive actually quoted the electrical works on 2 or 3 of those sites over the last couple of months. True story...when i was on the tools, i worked on a site similar to what you describe above in Stourport. Upon returning to work one morning, i find the unit i was working on had had the window 'levered' open. The existing gypsy 'site' was adjacent to the new plots. I unlock the front door and walk in, what am i greeted with i here you ask....a used 'jonny' and a pile of human shit in the middle of the kitchen area floor! Lovely bunch!
  6. FAIL Sorry to go briefly off topic, but i've always thought Caucasian was a term used to describe a person from Europe (and it's surrounding areas within Africa and Asia). Don't get the race/colour thing at all. If someone can be assed to point me back in the right direction, I'm all ears. Wiki say's...
  7. **** 'em. They're not above the law, and if they try and fight back against this eviction they should be treated in the exact same way as the rioters were a few months back. Exactly mate, the behave like animals they deserve to be treated like animals!
  8. But what about their human rights... :winkold:
  9. Pretty much smack bang on the money PieBoy.
  10. They could conform with the rest of society...they choose not to. They could get a legitimate job an pay taxes and contribute to the economy...they choose not to. They could abide by the rules and laws of the country in which they reside...they choose not to. The list goes on and on and on...
  11. The PC brigade have landed.
  12. Is not what I'd call a humane or particularly 'nice' approach to take to others misfortune/distress. Why do travellers/gypsies/protesters being tazered make you cry with laughter? In the face...IN...THE...FACE!!!
  13. Gypo 1 to Gypo 2 - We're all in strung out shape, but stay frosty, and alert. We can't afford to let one of those bastards in here!
  14. Hold on a second. This installation has a substantial dollar value attached to it. They're knocking down the walls, they're knocking down the goddamn walls! Let's book!
  15. You have sympathy for them then Mike? Not exactly. But I don't feel comfortable with the howling mob mentality that is already evident in this thread, either. But they dont pay their way, live by their own rules etc etc etc.... Why do they deserve to stay Mike? What exactly do they contribute to the economy?
  16. You have sympathy for them then Mike?
  17. Next tier up from McDonalds, so not necessarily crap food...just shit food!
  18. This! Me and cling film have never got on. It never does what I want it to and it never leaves my plates when I want it to. Also when your food is wrapped in it and it takes you 10 minutes of your lunch break to unravel it to get to you baguette!
  19. Never listened to anything he's done, so I'm not qualified to comment. Nikki Sixx ? Are bass players considered front men now ? I have to agree with whoever knocked back the Liam Gallagher idea. As boring front men go he'd be a winner Far enough he wasnt a front man, but he certainly had presence on stage. On the Gallagher thing, its not all about jumping round a stange making a specticle of yourself. He had an aura about him that no-one in England could touch for a decade.
