  1. Seen the trailer on TV a couple of times now. Critics are going mental over it saying Spielberg is more or less certain to clean up at the Oscar's with this. Never read the book, anyone mind giving me a quick heads up on what its about (apart from a horse!)?
  2. Guiness. I was going over to Dublin on a stag-do years ago, everyone was saying "try it in Dublin, it tastes completely different!". So i did...and it stall tasted like shit!
  3. Strokers! Irreverentad...you still bitter that i was supping on a lager while you while still looking busy on the 23rd!
  4. Anyone else see that complete cretin on One Born Every Minute last night? 2 things about this piss me off; 1) The fact i was watching the thing in the first place. 2) The bloke in said programme. He doesnt have the balls to say he wants to be at the birth of his son and instead lets his partners mom attend the birth. He then proceeds to storm around the hospital, swearing, punching walls and even headbutting a smoking shelter, all because he wasnt at the birth of his son. He continues his antics by charging out the hospital because "me eads gone"..."a need a ciggy"..."im goin pub". Next time grow a pair then you complete idiot!
  5. Easy win, 3 or 4-0. I'd like to see Gardner partner Ireland in the middle.
  6. Doesnt make him any less of a rocket polisher!
  7. Really really enjoying this game now, i think all my COD style running around has now been exhausted and im scoring much better.
  8. PM me your number mate, i might pop down and have a tot with you.
  9. Adam Sandlers version is much better! If you're going to troll, you'll have to do better than that... Not my style mate :winkold: , never seen the original but the Adam Sandler one is very funny.
  10. Might not get chance to get on over the festive period, so i would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Hope everyone has a brilliant time and enjoys themselves. Stay safe and all the best for next year. Wiggy xxx ps. Irreverentad, i will crack a cold one for you at midday tommorrow!
  11. i really don't understand vegetarians as well. it like they are missing out on an essential & enjoyable part of life. food is one of the great pleasures in life, and denying yourself 90% of the range of food out there is crazy. I really do not understand people who eat meat. To just simply disregard and feel it's okay to end another living things life, when it's not needed for survival is completely greedy and selfish and wrong. People always point out it's part of the food chain, If you need to eat meat to survive and you hunt it yourself then fair enough. If I was stranded on an island I would eat meat to survive, that's the food chain. But if you just walk into Sainsburys and buy some battery farmed/factory processed meat and not even view it as something that has died for you, instead as just "food", that is just weird and I do not get that. I'm no animal lover, but i'd rather an animal not to be slaughtered and live, instead of me eating it. EDIT: But maybe I have a false opinion 'cos i've never tried it, so have no idea how good it tastes You've never tried meat? As in ever? Is it not just mans human instinct to eat meat?
  12. Agreed, when on form and playing well, he's the best/most technically gifted footballer we have. Let's hope the penny has dropped and he's turned the corner. I don't think he has the mental strength to make it. I don't think he was really injured last night. I think he feigned it 'cause he couldn't handle the pressure. Unfortunately. WHAT!?!? What the hell makes you say/think that? Several things. He's got the talent, yet he doesn't play and wasn't wanted by citeh. Yes, they've got better players, but what makes Milner a much better player than Ireland? His determination and will and mentality. He goes to Newcastle and doesn't play because of injury, we're told. Reports says he does well on the training ground, yet he doesn't play. Add to that that we know he's a bit mental. He shows very much the characteristics of the kind of player that got the talent but can't handle the pressure. In the swedish national team there's an expression for those kind of players that can't handle it and feigns injuries to be relieved from the duty but keep their dignity intact. A lot more common than people might think. Now, I don't say that its surely the case with Ireland, but I suspect it is. Or maybe he's the example I'm looking for since I was told about how common this si by a man who works with the mental bit at professional athletes. If so, he' the one who comes closest to it. Don't take it as gospel, though. Just my thoughts. Thats fair enough mate, but he has struggled with injury since his arrival. Only time will tell i guess. In fairness, Ireland has been in and around the team when he's been fit. QPR, second half he was the best player on the pitch but then picks up a foot injury. I think its just going to take time but imo he will come good.
  13. But on the other hand mate, Bannan only has to fart in the direction of goal and everyone wants to nosh him off!
  14. People who call the inside lane of the motorway the "fast" lane. People who fail to move to the left on motorways (although now I own a black 4x4 this has become less of an annoyance as people do get out of the way more) Gangsta!!! Nope, just a farmer. "They see me rollin', they hatin"
  15. So you get tomorrow off as well? Me too, i shall crack a cold one at lunchtime just for you!
