  2. the building the sign is pointing at is actually Cardiff Bay Police HQ
  3. The Red Arrows They were in town today and I was able to sit in my garden and watch the whole thing. Great noise. (not my photo)
  4. yeah, and somebody else posted it up half a day before I did!
  5. Transfer News Live ‏@DeadlineDayLive 19m Aston Villa's £7m move for Manchester United's Tom Cleverley could collapse because they can't afford his wages. (Source: Daily Express) must be rock solid news: it's a tweet of a newspaper article..... (just seen this already posted)
  6. apparently the two most likely points for a womble attack are the underground and overground
  7. you stick to the Chardonnay mate, we'll take care of the men's drinks for you
  8. Mcdonalds / Walmart / Amazon style work practises and culture are a bit of a concern too, but we should be ok living under them as they aren't muslim. There can't be a sustained threat to our whole way of life from a religion more worried about bacon than about women's rights (just heard that on the radio, made me laugh).

  10. awww, this page*, we should hire a church hall or a scout hut somewhere and bring coffee, biscuits and a dozen records each * or the last page if you've got an inferior tablet...

  14. Lucky your office found someone to cover for you whilst you were out ... replaced by an even bigger cock
  15. I think there might be a few Shed channels, I think there's a fishing one and yes, maybe a fart one. '......next on Shed, blokes build a radio controlled 1/3 scale model of a Shelby Cobra over 16 episodes shown back to back......will they get the job finished before the 14th annual Birmingham scale model convention.....' just looked up the schedule, Monday looks pretty typical: 6:00pm Thinking Tackle - a fishing programme 6:30pm John Wilson Fishing in Madagascar 7:00pm John Wilson fishing in Norway 7:30pm Le Salvager - A man tries to weld a settee to a Renault 4 8:00pm Le Salvager - A man build a greenhouse using recycled wood and doors 10:00pm Top Hooker - a fishing programme and on and on it goes.....
  16. That will teach you to move next door to Rugeley the only problem chrisp65 would have with me is that i play my horrible music way to loud Rainbow and Nazareth I seem to recall having a soft spot for when I was a kid. I must have a couple of Nazareth albums up in the attic and a few days ago I found an old Motorhead / Girlschool cassette single! I would give them to you, I really would (my roof needs work). Of course, I'm far too hipster for that stuff now, I'm all about Johnny Cash and late cheesey Vegas Elvis today, uh hu hu. ---- You need to worry a bit more about the Chinese though, they've bought more of Africa than ISIS could ever dream of driving around in a stolen Nissan Navara.
  17. Just home from a day of shopping and fine dining wid my crew. Couldn't find any of the important footy scores and couldn't work out what the fudge was going on. Then remembered it's another Saturday tomorrow!
  18. Yup, tried to watch a film on Channel 5 a couple of months back and it was impossible, so many adverts you'd forgotten where the film had got to and then due to the number of ads they'd chopped the film up so it didn't take 4 hours. My taste recently has gone BBC channels, Channel 4, Shed*, Netflix, God TV *ancient episodes of Wheeler Dealers where they buy a car for £1,800, spend a grand on parts work on it for 6 months and sell it for £3,000 and declare it a massive success
  19. We've made a serious mistake in wasting the last 45 years not producing an alternative fuel and an alternative manufacturing product to mineral oil. As a result of a lazy strategy of simply buying the cheapest fuel on a day by day basis instead of investing we are now involved in keeping the oil supply open and buying gas of a country that is currently on a covert invasion of a european neighbour. If we'd got our shit together at some point in the last few generations then we could simply ignore what's happening in this basket case part of the world just like we do in other hot spots around the world. Are you worried about Eritrea? Central African Republic? Angola? India? Thailand? Mexico? Not trying to troll you Rugeley, but personally I get an awful lot more grief where I live and in my job from people off their tits on drugs and booze 4 or 5 nights of every week.
  20. yep, 20 years from now I'll be a gay chinese muslim hooked on synthemesc and e-cigs
  21. No it isn't, it's MND. At the risk of repeating myself, I have a friend who's recently been diagnosed with it. Just about everybody this guy knows has been fundraising and/or donating, me included. But the ice bucket thing is already into law of diminishing returns territory - people are getting sick of it and 'switching off'. Those who are going to donate will donate, those who aren't, won't. Me adding to the buffoonery would not make one iota of difference. and you can't afford to get cold Mike not two months before the winter heating allowance kicks in (cheeky little clearing in the woods only months behind you....)
  22. you should get somebody with a dumper truck to smack you on the head with a ton of water whilst you're sat on a horse fixing a toaster - then run down the garden and clearing in the woods yourself on some sort of random metal pole
