  1. Don't forget to turn your fridge down one click, save the environment and all that.

  8. FRENCH! 1899 Demand for Tobler’s chocolate products was so great that Jean Tobler founded a chocolate factory of his own. With his sons, he established the “Fabrique de Chocolat Berne, Tobler & Cie”.
  9. sounds a bit bloody foreign that papa john pizza and oreo milkshake, so I don't trust it rest of it sounds just fine

  11. I've eaten food most of my life. Heartily recommend it. A special shout out for pies with savoury fillings.
  12. I've just endured a lunchtime in HMV. Wouldn't go in there ordinarily, but we had vouchers. I can't imagine why they're struggling as a brand. Afterall, if you want a Breaking Bad mug, or a £17.99 Batman tee shirt or if you want to buy £300 speakers you can't try out first, it's the obvious one stop shop. Buying music proved to be a bit more problematic, but I guess you can't be good at everything.
  13. it's one thing to imagine Randy would sack off a mate he's just given a long contract to it's quite another to imagine he could then summon up all his nous and business acumen to actually employ somebody better
  14. I'm not the biggest fan of Steve Claridge, but his post match summary: If I was manager of Aston Villa and something clearly wasn't working after 30 minutes I would look to change it, try something else. But here we are after 5 games still trying the same thing and still getting nowhere. I don't understand why he doesn't change it.
  15. Does anybody know anything about the 'Craig Charles Eclectic Funky DJ Set'? I'm going to a gig which appears to then have Mr Charles doing his thing between 1:30 and 4:00am and all of a sudden I have a bunch of 40 somethings that all think it would be great to do it as some sort of mid life challenge. The nominated driver has basically spotted a way of not being nominated driver and persuading us all we can get on the 5:30am train home which sounds to me like a bit of a grim ending to a night out.
  16. Just using capital letters would be a **** start.
  17. you can get a the DVD, plus deluxe photo book, plus all the soundtrack on individual 7" vinyl I think it speaks volumes that the main selling point is the imagery and the music.
  18. Get out now, while you still can. And I don't mean the gym. She's not got a bad bone in her body. There must be an opportunity here for some ribald commentary, I just can't quite get the combination of suggestive smut vs downright offence to work.
  19. We're gonna get the kind of win that will make QPR wish they were Birmingham City.
  20. great, now I can come out and 'admit' the same I saw a bit of one of them, there was a bully, some 50's rock n roll and a mad professor, it was all a bit simple. I wandered off and did something else.
  21. definitely it's a fine line and a portion of the crowd is there for the new labour style rough football tourism experience but I guess the alternative is to leave footy to the thugs and the corporate boxes
  22. and if you get one with top end trim you get that raised bonnet badge and old school wood trim I think Audi have gone for the stiffer 'modern' suspension because these days its apparently all about being 'sporty'. Whereas Merc have gone for a bit more driver choice and tend to put in a few buttons to let you choose the level of british road bumpiness. Mine (C class) is ancient now (200k), but with the suspension set to soft but the gearbox set to standard the drive is just creamy but quick enough (9 seconds to 60 if you really need to floor it). A couple of Audi's I've driven have been a little bit crashy in comparison - but perhaps I just didn't know where the 'gliding smoothly along' setting was. They appear to have been set up for toad of toad hall and try to sell themselves on having 'really posh plastic' on the dashboard. At the end of the day, and Audi is a VW for people who wanted to spend more money.
