I wonder how many people in the UK would happily vote for an all encompassing coalition / hung parliament that all agreed to just freeze everything where it is and govern for 5 years without change.
No tweeks to GCSE's
No tweeks to university fees
No reform of the NHS
No change to benefits
No new idea on any major item
Just wherever we are, for good or bad, no tinkering just let it run. During that period we could get auditors to work out the costs and benefits of all the 'changes' of the last 10 or 20 years. I suspect that all changes to schools and hospitals and what not have cost billions and had no clear positive or negative affect.
Well its Dydd Santes Dwynwen today, and my missus is just fine.
Just fine the way she is.
We also take joint responsibility for provisions and yesterday I ran the vacuum cleaner around.
typical, the state of that woman's family, dodgy foreignors with dodgy records never worked a day in their lives, she'll be quite close to the top of the waiting list
Funnily enough, the only CD's I currently have in the living room are three or four Trojan box sets!
Everything else in there is 'not mine' and tends to have words like Enya or Corrs or Now written on the box
I could spend my life listening to this sort of stuff.
I'm trying to broaden my listening, but really, this is what I like 80 / 90% of the time.
Nearly bought a Heptones album a couple of days ago but on the way to the counter I realised the funny squiggle on the sticker wasn't a funny squiggle, it was £42
Late January is not a £42 album time of year.
why has she got one leg up in the air, showing us all what she had for brekkie.....
....just trying to get into Crackpot's dark warped mind here.....personally, I can't see it either......
Yeah, but hopefully it was a beautiful discovery?
It's got a bit of everything in there, pop songs, heavier tunes a bit of romance, comedy and social comment. But most of all, it's just good tunes.
That particular copy, with the circular sleeve, is 30 years old and still as clean and crackle free as ever - which considering the amount its been played and the kit its been played on is close to witchcraft.
I think I'm coming to the conclusion I'm deliberately awkward. But just to continue the theme......I've never had a KFC.
I've built a few, and I've had one of the ones I built demolished again. But I've never eaten in one.
But I have had Macdonalds a couple of times, I've had a burger there and about a year ago I had some sort of fishfinger in a doughnut (the bun was really really sweet), and I've had a Burger King bean burger back when I was a veggie. Just to redress the balance - I currently have about 1800/1900 points on my Costa reward card and the bloke in Greggs knows my first name.
