  1. I'm sorry but without hi res photo's and some time to carefully consider youtube footage I'm certain many of these events were faked - I demand to see evidence sorry am I still on the moon landing thread?
  2. I listened to a couple of sex dwarf interviews today and every time there was a slight variation but the theme was the same. We had to get promoted because its not nice having Villa lording it over us / I'm glad we got promoted because our fans don't need Villa fans rubbing their noses in it / I'm happy we're promoted because we've unfinished business with Villa Good grief man, hardly a positive outlook on life is it? Be happy in your own skin, don't get eaten by envy and revenge, you could end up coming over as a clearing in the woods.
  3. not a lot of no's out there I suppose that's down to Iain Dowie no longer being available
  4. I had friends directly effected by this, I lived in a town strongly effected by deliberately cruel policies so when thatcher dies I will enjoy a little drinky leaders on both sides badly let the people down when they were both supposed to represent and promote the people - a disgrace and curse them both
  5. yeah, lets argue about god! God and science aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Personally, I believe in both - but I don't trust scientists and I don't take 2,000 year old written religious text, re written, translated, updated, rewritten again as necessarily exactly what god said.
  6. in the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind there are dead sheep and cows scattered across the countryside, due to animal rights issues they were actually all trained to play dead by James Milner James's only payment was a large rock sculpted out of mashed potato
  7. most minority sports leave me cold, though apparently I have 'Wales No 2' in the office first scorer sweep, so: 'Go Wales 2!'
  8. they must be good, my boss is on his third since September
  9. selected the top one as there wasn't a 'complete bunch of wannabe middle class cnuts devoid of taste that need all trace and record eliminated destroy destroy destroy' button. was once emotionally blackmailed to attend a Brian cocking May concert and now have issues
  10. its an interesting point by Jarvo - a lot of people are now missing out on the standing in a football crowd experience for me, it was the ability as a kid to wonder up and down the full holte as a kid, during the boring bits, followed by the scary buzz of a crowd surge in the good bits - that's what got me hooked closest thing in quite some time was the upper holte for the full Ajax game - possibly my best day of '08 so, does anyone out there know of a ground low enough down the pecking order to still have standing, but with a crowd that can generate an atmosphere?
  11. dodgier than a spud face press release
  12. if you send me $20 dollars I will let you knows a sure fire way of making easy monies - 100% guaranteed
  13. already been probably go again you can blindly follow what the bloke up the front that claims to be in the know tells you - and there's a whole heap of shit coming your way if that's your way of doing things or you can sign up to the principles of fairness and equality and stay true to your own interpretation of it all this would probably make more sense if I wasn't slightly squiffy
  14. 2007 DTI definition was: small business = less than 50 employees medium busines = between 50 and 249 employees large business - 250 + employees but there is no universally accepted measure so the poll is fine as it stands for more info just google 'small medium business definition' best of luck
  15. well two months ago there were 42 of us there are now 30 if you need this for research you might want to look up the definition of small or medium enterprises. the likes of business in the community and institute of directors etc are a good source of info. for what its worth I think the small business turns into a medium at about 40 staff hope that helps, good luck!
  16. I'll be there north upper for some bizarre reason (didn't get the ticket myself and this is what happens)
  17. General, Thanks for a great season just watched a programme about the '57 cup final have a good break for a few weeks, then help us to win it again please 'it would be nice' thanks, see you all in July
  18. General, as alluded to above, a direct swop of Barry for Carson would hardly seem a great deal from our side (Liverpool may disagree). Equally, we cannot be obsessed with one player. If he goes he goes and thanks for the good times. Let's please just make sure MON has a decent budget and next August the majority of people on here will be saying the squad is stronger than it was. Well, maybe not August - I'm guessing MON may be a better manager than me as I wouldn't have bothered with Harewood or NRC. But you know what I mean.
  19. General (and maybe anybody with a bit of background on this) Having been a fan that manages to get to a handful of games every year (for the last 30 years) I've never previously managed to get hold of a ticket for us v them. Without wanting to look like a middle class softy.....would I be nuts to park the car in the Villa parking the other side of Witton Lane Station??? Normally fine, but Sunday isnt likely to be normal.
  20. fair enough on the shirts, understandable really 38k for a midweek game against Middleboro, tells you all you need to know about progress made cheers
  21. general even a limited edition run of non-advertising shirts would surely hit two spots it panders to the oldskool that don't want KrispyKremes written across themselves and it gets nationwide press coverage as a novel move and gets every other set of supporters clamouring for their team to follow our lead and after the first few limited edition boxes role out the sponsor gets the rest of the season for those that miss the boat, there's the sponsored shirt or classic 80's shirt both available in the shop win win
  22. General, Just a quicky to praise Carol at Business Villa. Followed up our cancelled Blackburn game (the date was switched) by waiting a little while then offering us other games. Only her job I'm sure, but it all feels organised now whereas you feel it wouldn't have happened in the past. a sale for you and a free trip out for me - result!
  23. happy birthday from the Welsh contingent too (I always travel abroad to watch my Premier team) next time he's over for a game we could give him the bumps!
  24. General, having seen the cut for the England squad I'm sure you can see some glimmer of potential in that poor manager of ours
