  1. I saw one of those stickers on the back of some average banger that made me chuckle. It was the usual track outline, but the text actually said 'never been' quite humorous for a spotty scrawny piston head
  2. celebrity radio chef that's one they didn't think of when they sent all the pointless twunts on the B Ship from Golgafrincham
  3. is **** off a noun or a verb? (I'm actually really disappointed in myself) the really annoying bit is Ainsley Harriot was on some radio programme the other day and used the cook off / fry off phrase so many times it was really beginning to get on my tits and I moaned about it to Mrs 65
  4. This, especially when having angled around to get a look at her face was tricky work. To then see she's beaten with the ugly stick is annoying. AKA a "1661" (sometimes "1664"). aka bay watch / crimewatch

  6. I sent them £20 when they nearly went bust a few years back. I like to think that's going towards POB's new contract! here's a nice obscure link - I met Gary Barnett two weekends ago, we had a good chat about the good ole days
  7. ordered a new phone yesterday evening got a text within 30 mins saying it was despatched got a text this morning 7:00am saying it would be delivered today got a text at 9:00am saying it would be delivered between 11:00am and 11:45am it arrived at 11:15am that's quite impressive
  8. ....and news hot off the press... a bit of courgette thinly sliced (use a peeler or grater), flash fried in olive oil, mixed with pesto and poured over some tagliatlli veh veh niiice, just came home to that served up as I walked through the door. how she knew I was coming home I have no idea! what a woman! apparently I mustn't go upstairs?
  9. yes you can fry off courgette flowers tempura style, bit of a faff around here we have camponella (campanula) growing wild out of just about every wall perfectly edible flowers very colourful sprinkled over the top of a salad
  10. Two weeks before Christmas I've got a boys trip to that London booked for a big weekend of gigs and booze. It's planned now because we need to make sure we've got tickets and we need to make sure we've got decent digs. A weekend away, mid December, when you have family, shows a very understanding missus. I've also got them on warning I'll be watching more Villa this year. BUT, by the same token, I will be using 'family commitments' as an excuse to bail out of a lot of work organised Friday nights that I really can't be arsed with.

  12. Surely we should address stuff in order of priority. I'm quite irked by people exporting assault rifles, sniper rifles, anti personnel mines. I'd have to put having a serious look at that being a legitimate trade just above porn on twitter.

  16. Now see, isn't variety great. For me, Apoc Now and The Deer Hunter are both brilliant, totally full on top 10 listers.
  17. I watched Raging Bull a couple of nights ago. I thought it was just generally, meh. Not a stinker, just perfectly ok but no seminal moment. Which was a shame as I'd been looking forward to it (and I accept that pre watch anticipation might have caused a bit of disappointment).
  18. Who to vote for in 2015? What an absolutely shocking bunch of fucktards on all sides to be honest. I guess that comes from a combination of factors: we are in a relatively stable peaceful prosperous country so for the majority of people there is no need to get active or agitate for serious change we are largely at the mercy of world events and the economies of far larger players, and we have the education and information to be aware we are not entirely masters of or own destiny a few hundreds years of practise at forms of democracy and observing others without it have shown us that reasonable and gradual tends to pay off more than revolution charismatic leaders generally tend to be totally flawed humans we are too busy not getting sacked to think about wholesale changes to economic systems so we vote for the fucktards that moo platitudes closest to ours (and have a little tingle of excitement when there is a little riot kicking off that might stick it to the man)
  19. Is next week going to be doughnuts? I loves a doughnut but I'm away. could somebody cover for me please, answers are yes yes please anytime all the time anally fudge
  20. I thought it was going to be a Rob confession. Though to be honest, the only fess up that would have been a shock would've been 'I have never actually experienced or observed the physical love of a lady'
  21. you like what you like I've been accused of being a music snob because my taste is a mix of typical bloke of my age (Trojan box sets) and even more obscure shite. But it's just about what you like and what does it for you. I can't imagine why anyone would listen to stuff they didn't like, to look like they were cool or to fit in. Anyway, I'm looking at drums with headphones this weekend so potentially nobody has to suffer my late budding career ambition of being a human techno dub loop master.... I've got a bit of a gig blank in the diary for a couple of months now, then Billy Bragg in November.
  22. haaaaaa haaaaaa what a div a nissan micra
