  2. I think it's because the council won't let them write 'fucktard' on biscuits or cakes.
  3. The German market in Brum is ridiculously busy this year, takes any fun out of it. As for German people, probably the nicest people in Europe I agree with that, friendliest people I have met in my life were in Munich last year. Germans and Germany are great. generally people are people and there are obviously good and bad everywhere, it goes without saying but I have to say, I've found the Germans particularly friendly I'd have to qualify that by saying its taken from a relatively small sample of: all 4 types of Brits Irish Germans Dutch Americans French Poles Maltese as the only people I've had any sort of longish term dealings with as opposed to just holidays

    Drugs

best of luck Rugeley My work brings me into contact with a large number of drug addicts and it taught me quite early on that there isn't a 'type' there isn't an age. There is no profile, some people can look utterly vanilla and hide it really well whereas other people wear it on their forehead like a neon sign. One route I've seen is to take the money you would spend and stick it in a buidling society for the kids. £10 a go, £10 a time, slowly you'll look at that paying in book and get a buzz for the good thing you did.
  5. work was really hard, lots of hours and mostly up hill with fees per job slashed saying that, squeezed a couple of decent holidays out of it skimming along superficially fine, but actually constantly one bad debt away from meltdown still getting away with it completely in love with my missus kids are healthy and appear to be sorted at school set a PB in my bid to live forever I think that about sums it all up
  6. Or Tony is open minded enough not to believe everything he reads in the sun .... You should go see it for yourself you'll be pleasantly surprised so, are you saying this guy hasn't been executed ? no idea what it says in the Sun about him, what I saw was a translation on the BBC of a north korean tv bulletin

  8. not mine! but had a listen to it in the shop and it was fine!
  9. the sheer quantity of drunks in town meant any shop that wasn't a boozer or fast food had to close the sheer quantity of drunks in town meant that for their safety the street was pedestrianised now, the sheer quantity of drunks in town can't be expected to act like adults, they can simply piss in the street
  10. a good old fashioned state execution in North Korea amongst the charges: dreaming the wrong dreams clapping unenthusiastically charged, declared guilty, taken out back and machine gunned old school!
  11. Whilst he was on the phone to me explaining what he'd just done, I missed a call from her, telling me the boss was having some sort of mental episode. She's lovely.
  12. I'd like to nominate my boss for this one. We were on a few days work in London, half way through the second day he phoned my missus at home and asked to speak to me. She pointed out that I was supposed to be in London with him, to which he answered: 'yes, yes he is, oh there he is over there, bye!' and hung up. In fairness, he then phoned me and announced 'I may have just done a bad thing'.
  13. Well, I was going to write something about how being a minister for the arts or similar would bump your salary up to £79k. But I was wrong, being a minister adds a further £79k to your basic £65k, there's a few ministries I'd happily head up and blunder through a year of reviews to pick up £145,492.00 Failing that, I could step in and be a second deputy to the chief whip of the opposition, this must be a fantastically difficult task, as it adds a further £26,600 to the insufficient £65,738 I'd otherwise have been scraping by with. oooh, there's the job for me, deputy to the deputy speaker! how hard can being second reserve be for an extra £36,360 per annum?
  14. you get what you pay for and politicians are set for an 11% rise using the same criteria, how much 'should' a nurse earn, or a soldier on active service, or a teacher Nobody has to be a politician, if it's too tough and not enough money I'm more than willing to stand in for one of them for 12 months whilst they look for something else more suitable - I presume I'll be allowed to keep my current job and stay in central london hotels when I've worked late and not have to pay for travel, heating or eating?
  15. if all we do is change the pay rate, what we'll actually get is the usual calibre of party selected party cronies but on a bit more money whatever happened to drastically reducing the size of the Commons? Is that still out there somewhere? Kicked down the road as an idea to consider just after nuclear power stations make electricity too cheap to bother sending out bills for.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRobryliBLQ god bless you all ****
  17. What are you, some kinda ho-mo-sekshual boy?! No. I'd just put about 5/6 other meats above it in a purely roast context. However, I'd put a proper steak at the top of my list of any meat. yeah, I have to keep mixing it up with the meats, any one meat gets a bit boring quite quickly saying that, it's also a case of keeping an eye on prices which appear to fluctuate a fair bit
  18. What are you, some kinda ho-mo-sekshual boy?! looks like we got ourselves one of them closet tofu nibblers
  19. the kids love buttery parsnip mash! it's not for me, but they'd happily eat a plate of the stuff and leave the meat
  20. jeesh, sensitive infidels don't see obvious joke (oh, yeah yeah, I've been double bluffed, yeah) merry **** christmas
  21. american freedom fighters FTW
  22. we could put it in a paper bag and hand it to you through the car window if that helps?
  23. So a bit like a properly run business? Such a patently sensible approach.
