  1. You need some Welsh League Division 3 in your life, or to be precise, the games that Shaun Hicks is reffing. Currently averaging 4 sending offs per game, his next match is a grudge match between the two most 'robust' teams in the league.
  2. it's just not the same when you're home all day and the missus can see what you're writing get yourself down the shed and write something rude and vaguely aggressive
  3. Crimea says 'out of date by about 24 hours' bloody good all the same
  4. I posted this piccie on another site and quite innocently gave it the title 'clearing in the woods', realised what I'd done and had a mini lol, just a sort of audible "huh".
  5. several of us already suspected that
  6. 15 minutes and still no 'waking up with drug induced tattoo of pigs head sex' story from Rugeley.
  7. I wouldn't know what a 777 looks like and I'm a very very highly intelligent individual. C in Art O level, A in CSE Commerce, cycling proficiency badge holder.
  8. essentially they are rats with a good hairdresser and great PR
  9. George, Complete break, walk away, it is over over. Or put up with it, carry on bobbing along, accept the scumbag as he is and just post phunnay pictures when you visit VT. It really isn't anymore complicated than that.
  10. cheers, The guys in Spillers were convinced it was there, the shop copy sleeve was in and it was listed as stock - but they couldn't turn it up. It's on the order list for the next time I'm in Cardiff. I've got a hard week or so of work coming up now, but every chance I'll bother you for stuff once I've got time to go through it properly again!
  11. the one that always did for me was the 8th playing of 'everything I do' by Bryan Adams my neighbour won every time when he broke that one out
  12. struck out on the very first and what I presumed would be easiest to find, Pepe Deluxe the kids loved it when they got in the car, they loved the vid on youtube too, but it wasn't in any shops yesterday..... so I resorted to my original shopping list: 9Bach and a triple CD celebrating 40 years of the Sain record label Xann, Your comment on Rare Beats made me smile, it's basically what I sent out on my mix to Patrick, with some dub and electro thrown in the mix! I've got a few Andy Vottel compilations (he helped out on Rare Beats 1 & 2), I went to see him up in Brecon where he did an hour long warm up set. Lovely bashful bloke but when I quizzed him on the names of a few of the tracks, he said he didn't know. When I asked if he was being coy or protective he laughed and said he really didn't know but if I was that interested he'd go through his files and find out.
  13. £5M / £1M / £27.50 it's more about the principle surely?
  14. all hail King Xann, the king of the mixtape 2011 is perfectly fine, but 2012 and 2013 are just different class and will cost me a fortune tracking down new audio adventures in the meantime, I'm the driver for a trip to York later in the week, I shall be playing these and passing them off as my own mix from my own collection
  15. I'm guessing we did. But in fairness, it tasted of leek and potato and included actual real vegetable. Unlike the soup from the place down the road a couple of weeks ago where 'homemade' clearly meant they'd poured on the boiling water to rehydrate it themselves.
  16. just had a perfectly good* homemade leek and spud soup over in the park, sat there with all the flowers and the trees and the birdies big bowl of soup, some crusty bread, a coffee and a biscuit very civilised *didn't need the salt but that's par for the course when you eat out, salt is still king but you can actually adapt to not needing it. I don't think I've added salt to cooking in 20 years.
  17. I'm not sure the last bit is true. However far back we can track, toward the beginning and what was before the beginning and what was before that, people will still be able to say 'that' is where their god pushed the button. Right now, for some, a proven ripple or wave is just proof of where god's finger pinged the surface of nothing and began creation. So yeah, as a scientific discovery it's absolutely fantastic and a potential springboard to more. As proof there is no god, hmmm, not sure it's going to cause Ephraim Mervis too many new problems.
  18. see, I took the original comment on execution as a 'quip' not a manifesto pledge
