They could have started all at once and then fit the two games in afterwards. They didn't and it is for one reason only, to get everyone to a level amount of games played in case they have to cull the season. As soon as Liverpool get their trophy it could be pulled at any time afterwards.

Are the first two fixtures even in place? There are no tickets for sale via Villa's website and there are no fixtures at all when you click on "fixtures".

Get the two outstanding games out of the way to bring everyone back to parity and then play each round of games and if it then gets bad we can just scrap it but, only after Liverpool's title is sealed. We just need to make sure that we are alert to that and have ourselves ahead of the curve and being out of the bottom three.

Without that additional inspiration from the Villa Park faithful I cannot see us getting enough points to stay up. We need divine intervention.

Regarding the virus, I'm surprised there's no news of it being widespread throughout Africa as you'd think something like this out there would be devastating.

His family have already said that they only wanted peaceful protest. The thing is, amongst those rioters there could be infiltrators stirring up the level of violence in order for the government/authorities to create stronger laws. Its been claimed many times before.

I just hope the solidarity shown here does not turn into the horrible violence seen in America. What happened to George Floyd was f**king despicable and no doubt that cop should be jailed for life and his watching colleagues done for accessory to murder or something, by their lack of action against him. However, innocent people are now being affected by the violence and that is not acceptable and I'm sure that George Floyd's family are devastated by what they are seeing.

Has anyone seen the footage of the supposed store owner defending his property with a sword in hand. He chases people away and they get him down and kick him to death. Defending against police brutality has my full support but looting and destroying innocent lives and livelihoods in inexcusable. Ultimately, Trump is to blame. When that footage came out about what happened to George Floyd he should have pulled rank immediately and had the cop arrested for murder and the other cops arrested for accessory to murder. He should have then called for a full public enquiry into the amount of people being killed or maimed by police brutality in his country.

I played golf at my local course yesterday, with my Dad. The bar inside the clubhouse was closed but there was a guy with a van in the car park who had set up a mobile bar and several guys were gathered together there drinking.
