  1. How much chance is there of seeing a Villa line-up like this next season? --------------------Abraham----------------- Benrahma----Grealish----Rashica --------------McGinn--------Luiz---------- Targett----Mings----Luyindama----Cash ------------------------Reina----------------------- Is it doable and how much would it cost? If it could be done, where would you see that team finishing in the league? I'd say that line-up, if it played a really decent amount of games together, would see us finish somewhere around 10th-11th, maybe higher.
  2. Never say never. (how many more BS comments needed to hit 70?)
  3. Surely when you typed this you meant OMC - oh my cod?
  4. I think we should all just move on to another player we want and then if he does sign it is a complete bonus and we can all be jubilant. Sign Domenico Berardi already will ya.
  5. Matt Targett was obviously impressed by Upamecano's performance, nothing wrong with that. Maybe he's saying to Smithy and the gaffers that he wants to play in a defence that has centre backs that perform like that
  6. When I'm watching two people and thinking "this looks fun I'm going to watch the mess unfold" it's not popcorn I'm reaching for W
  7. Sounds like Sudoku. I hope we won't have to endure another Xia-like puzzle to solve this one...
  8. Is that popcorn? If so - noooooooooooooo. It's English football not American.
  9. I actually work for a company that distributes video games and look after publishers such as Sega, EA and Activision Blizzard but I don't play the games.
  10. I felt compelled to trawl a certain website that does player stats and found this name: Domenico Berardi. He's 6ft tall, player as an attacker for Sassuolo in Italy and scored 14 and had 10 assists from 29 appearances this last season. He is only 26 and according to another website that values players he has a market value of around £17m. He is left-footed but mainly plays as attacking right midfield so would replace El Ghazi. Anybody got any knowledge of him?
  11. Ha, but you are say that so that your cover isn't blown. We understand so don't worry, we won't say a word
  12. Too true. Jack needs someone else to do some work with the ball so that he still has the energy left to impact the end of games rather than be knackered and kicked to pieces.
  13. Dunno mate but maybe he has become "Inspired" to return?
  14. When it comes to transfer window time there, for me, was no comparison to TheTrees. Now, I am interested in this window
  15. Wasn't Luyindama linked with us for a while? If he can play DM as well I'd like us to go in for him, or someone else that can play both CB and DM. They can start off as right CB then go into DM if Dougie gets injured or, if SJM gets injured, Dougie can go into his place and the new guy replace him etc.
  16. Soooo glad I'm not the only one who struggled with that one.
  17. I think that Davis is poor and looks like a rabbit caught in a headlight when in front of goal. It's OK being physically strong but you also need finesse, skill, vision, awareness and many other things to be a striker. Davis lacks most of them.
  18. In a 46 game Championship - we need to remember that. He looks great down the middle of the park. The other night, when other's heads dropped, he kept going. He looks an intelligent footballer but, all he has achieved is at lower level. We all know the Premier League is a different level altogether.
  19. I'm glad I'm the odd one out. I'd hate that clearing in the woods to be our manager.
  20. Let's hope we draw and beat Shrewsbury in one of the cups so you can quote the headline "The taming of the shrew".
  21. Not half as ridiculous as he looks with that hair on.
