Another Fifa fan hey. Its a nightmare for me. I currently have 297,000 units of the PS4 version sat outside my office and I have to count the buggers every day to make sure none have gone walkies

Another great thing about this season - our shirts aren't hideous. The likes of Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal and Wolves have absolutely grotesque away shirts.

We need a central midfielder for sure. McGinn, sadly, is a million miles of his old self. Hourihane is simply too slow and lacks the quality. Left back cover is needed. Targett is OK. He was conned tonight and again had no cover from Grealish when they attacked down our left side.

It was a foul, Watkins was clean through and that is a red card. Basham dived and should've been booked. I guarantee he will be at least yellow-carded at some point tonight. He gets it almost every time he plays us. McGinn has been pants. Trez and Cash need to start moving and taking on their opponents down the right. Emi is amazing. Great save despite the clueless fecker Villa fan next to me saying it was a poor pen - it was going into the side so a decent pen.

It was no surprise to see Barsham doing the diving. He's a cheating cornt who usually gets booked against us for smashing Grealish. Mark my words, he will get booked or sent off in this game.

That "penalty" for them was a dive but, that would have been avoided had Mings shown the attacker - 1v1 with him - down the line instead of inside onto his favoured left foot. Bad defending all day long from Mings.

If you're clean through on goal and the last opponent fouls you it is a red card. What is so hard to understand? Red all day. In the pub, people saying it was harsh too and, claim to support us.

Sorry guys but buying a striker that scores, a very good 'keeper and a new right back does not make me think we will do much better than last season in terms of performances so right ow, until further additions are made, I think we will be sluggish at the start. Therefore, I am predicting a 1-1 draw with a controversial going against us to even out that massive mess with the goal-line tech that failed in this fixture post lockdown. Expect the dumbass ref or VAR to either send one of ours off or give them a dodgy decision.

Found this on Twitter today. One of our own went to tidy up Charlie Athersmith's grave. A Villa legend who won 5 league titles with us and died was before his time at just 38 years of age. Fair play to Fortress Villa Park for a wonderful tribute

His name is Billy George. He was goalkeeper at Villa for 14 years and played cricket for Warwickshire.

He is apparently 6ft 5ins tall so a real big presence in goal for us now. I don't know about others but last season I didn't see anything about Heaton that made me feel we had a great goalkeeper. Don't get me wrong, he looked solid. But, nothing spectacular. I'm hoping Martinez has that wow factor that fills us all with confidence in him. More importantly, the defence needs to have that confidence in him.
