I think people need to stop saying he looks like Zidane, Messi, Iniesta etc and realise that in years to come they will be saying "we made ???? look like Jack Grealish today". No doubt about it, we have a genuinely world class player on our books and he is one of ours. I genuinely believe that when he leaves Villa (if it ever happens) he will go to Barcelona or Real Madrid. -
We aren't buying anyone else, are we? Who was it said that we had finished spending after Traore? Seems like he was right.

Hourihane said in the summer that some players cannot handle the pressure of playing for Villa because of the size of the club. The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal mostly buy players that are used to pressure but Villa shop i a different market and a lot of their players won't have experienced an atmosphere quite like Villa Park. Personally, I do think that the home faithful are part of the problem when things aren't quite as we want them to be. But, isn't it like that at other stadiums? Villa fans do not have exclusive rights to moaning and groaning when things go wrong. -

Thank you Deano for making me so so proud of my team again. I'll never stop being proud of the club but we've had some terrible teams to cheer for over the last 10 years. This team was truly exceptional tonight and whatever your game plan was it was absolutely brilliant. Well done Holte-ender.

We look dangerous everytime we go forward. We deserve every bit of luck because we've been so brave at attacking them.

Watkins has been lethal. Barkley brilliant and should have scored two. Grealish is sublime and makes something happen each time he touches the ball. Trez is a workhorse and got a kick in on their man. Konsa and Mings have been phenomenal and headed everything clear. Targett has been rock solid defensively. What is not to like?

I hate to piss on folks' chips but, surely we are not looking to sign Rashica any longer? If we did, where would he play? Grealish, Watkins and Barkley are going to be nailed on starters. The only chance would be wide right and he has Trezeguet and Traore already fighting for that position. I'd love us to sign him because he looks a real talent but it just seems highly unlikely now.
