  1. There's definitely no commentary? The broadcasters will surely get some of the fee for the usage of their equipment and staff? The clubs are supposedly getting money from this so you can understand them wanting to do it but the end of last season saw all games shown on TV somewhere so no doubting that the fans, during a (hopefully) once-in-a-lifetime pandemic are right now being shafted. They could have continued to show all the games through their various subscription services in order to keep people entertained during dark times in our lives.
  2. Does anyone else feel like they want to see England get thrashed (Jack not playing) so we can get rid of dick-nose Southgate for the way he's treated Jack?
  3. You are not alone in your criticism of this scam. I pay like you do and absolutely feel aggrieved at this PPV bollocks. I won't buy it and will cancel my subscription and go for the illegal little rivers instead.
  4. Yep, three fixtures in October - Leicester, Leeds and Southampton - at £15 per game so £45 to the Sky to watch Villa this month. They can go forth and multiply. I already pay a sky sports subscription so why pay extra to watch my club? They should all wear masks, regardless of Covid, if they're going to rob people.
  5. Exactly my point. In fact, I'm going to write to them explaining that if that's how the future is to proceed I shall be cancelling my sky sports subscription altogether and watching via alternative means - which will be the little rivers as there are plenty about.
  6. It was Jack's first start. Maybe more coincidental than ironic? It is Jack's great great grandfather.
  7. Jack wait ages to get into the England set-up and he finds himself playing for a dinosaur manager.
  8. Grealish is I jured and these wankstains commentating are talking only about Kiefer Moore. F**king bellends.
  9. That defence is garbage. I hope Jack plays well and does himself proud.
  10. Tonev drop-kicking from the halfway line springs to mind for some reason.
  11. I pray we don't touch any of the freebies. They have no deals for a reason and the days of us showing such desperation are hopefully behind us now. I reckon we did have a £100m budget for the season but are holding approx. £15m back in case we need to do some business in the January window. I'm OK with that. If we get to January and we're relatively comfortable in terms of league position/points and injuries, I think we will hold on to the money and add it to next summers transfer budget. Again, I'm fine with that.
  12. Yep, it does make you wonder what he has brought to the party in terms of tactics, so far. I fully expect him to know how to mark Albert Steptoe in order to keep him from scoring against us in our next league game.
  13. The odd player coming in and out of the best 11 should be OK. Not all teams go through a season with their best 11 turned out in every game. We can only do so much each season in terms of FFP so we just have to keep bolstering as and when the chance arises. We have done well with what we have spent. If we get £100m at the end of this season we can go out and buy another 5 quality players.
  14. So many new faces around the team meant that it was always going to take time for them to gel. You're talking young guys moving families and getting familiar with surroundings etc. It's a big club with big ambitions too so it was always going to take time. The key was always to stay up so they had that time to settle and then show what they're really made of this season and beyond.
  15. Yeah, seeing him applaud Smith at the final whistle was really great to see. I was so happy for Deano and his staff when that happened.
  16. I remember that too and thought how right they were whilst watching the demolition on Sunday night. Was it the prophet named Villalad21? The one who also started the "Title chase 20/21" thread?
  17. AND, we have finally beaten a top 6 side.
  18. Spot on. I like Targett. He works hard, likes to get a challenge in and gets up and down the flank. He puts a decent cross on too. I've said before, I think he gets left exposed because Jack often goes looking for the ball in other areas and leaves him 1 v 2 down his side. But, with Barkley now in the centre, maybe now Jack can stay out wide and give Targett more help.
  19. He was poor, that's why nobody wanted him.
  20. So that means we could possibly still get him if it's a straight cash deal? To be honest, if it doesn't happen it won't bother me at all because it's all been rather tedious.
  21. What's really funny is that Werder have waited (apparently) for someone to give them what they want for him and when it happens it didn't make the deadline lol. They're really not very good at doing deals are they. No wonder they're in so much financial trouble.
  22. So, are you insinuating that they need the cash so bad that if a foreign club were to want to buy Rashica from them they would have no option but to sell?
