Jack has played unbelievable through-balls down the channel for Cash and Elmo to cross from and both messed it up.

The best two Villa players by miles have been Jack and Dougie. Some of Doug's passing through the lines tonight has been sensational. Jack's been different class. Still not seeing enough from McGinn. I actually thought Hourihane contributed more tonight. He's just not doing much lately. Watkins has also been disappointing and will be under serious threat when Wesley gets back to full fitness.

That should've been retaken as their player was inside the box at the time he took the penalty. We really need Jack to start taking the penalties. He should have the confidence to take them.

Cash caught to narrow yet again. He has to get closer to his man to stop the crosses coming in. I do worry about him up against Benrahma this half.

It doesn't matter that he got a slight touch on the ball first, he got the man as well which stopped Trezeguet from getting to the ball. By your reckoning, when a player slides into a challenge it is OK to snap a players leg as long as he gets the ball first.

How can the commentator question that as a pen? That was a penalty all day long. He kicked him.

The sooner Wes comes back the better. We need an aerial threat and he offers that. Even if he doesn't start he would be a great option from the bench.

This is going to be a really nervy, edge - of - your - seat, ride until the end of this match. Throwing everything at them but will be wide open to the counter attack. Could end 2-2 or 1-3.

For me, McGinn was poor for their second goal. Watch it again and see what he does. He is marking their AM on the edge of the box then, when that player plays the ball to his left, McGinn follows the ball - despite the intended recipient being marked closely - instead of standing still and staying with his man. The ball was returned to said man and he played it through to the wide man who crossed it for March to score. If McGinn had stayed with his man he probably wouldn't have been able to play that ball through our defence.

Grealish, Trez and Bert have done well. Watkins was too slow to react on a couple of occasions. McGinn is anonymous and when he does get the ball he's invariably given it away. Targett was stupid for sticking an arm in Maupay's face because Lamptey is going to run at him non-stop in the second half and will have to be at his best if he doesn't want to see red. Mings has been poor. Defended poorly and had a clear chance in front of goal and messed it up.

Watkins should have challenged for that. Terrible play for a centre forward not to try to put that in.

Our crossing has been poor. Surely Grealish needs to play where Barkley was with Traore playing right and Trez wide left?

They're attacking us down our right side. It's clear that each team we play targets that area of our defence.

Trezeguet is having a good game. He was unlucky with his first shot when blocked and then he just had two more - the first was blocked and the second he placed wide. Our problem is Mings. What was going on with that goal? Both centre backs cannot be in their half.
